The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may have a new reason to be concerned soon. Y&R fans know Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has agreed to help Chelsea, but what about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey)?
Since Sharon has served in this therapist role to Connor before, Adam may want her to do it again.
Although Adam has been putting off telling Connor about Chelsea’s condition, he knows he’ll have to tell his son some version of the truth soon. Is Adam really just going to drop that bomb over the phone or on a video chat? It seems like a conversation that Adam would need to have with Connor in person.
Adam will have to break the news that Chelsea can’t speak or move much right now, so that’s going to be a devastating, life-changing blow for the kid. Chelsea assured Connor she’d be OK before her procedure – and then Adam lied that everything was fine after her stroke.
It’ll be traumatizing for Connor to find out the real story, even if it’s a modified kid-friendly version.
This is certainly the kind of thing that Sharon could pitch in on. Connor had some issues with Sharon back when they were having therapy sessions together, but they managed to work through those. As Adam grows closer to Sharon, there’s surely no one else he’d rather have help Connor through this crisis.
That brings us to some other intriguing Young and the Restless hints. For starters, Sharon told Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) she knew they should be together forever after that night they were forced to share a motel room.
Rey has also brought up the idea of taking a special getaway with Sharon around Valentine’s Day, which doesn’t seem likely to pan out.
Will Sharon go on a trip with Adam instead? Could Adam and Sharon find themselves sharing a motel room this time around? It could happen if Adam asks Sharon for help giving Connor updates on Chelsea at his boarding school.
Adam might leave Chelsea in the care of her nurses and tackle this challenge in person with supportive Sharon by his side.
It seems like the soapy way to go since Rey’s excited about this getaway with Sharon. It’d be a no-brainer for Y&R to force Sharon and Adam together instead of Sharon and her husband.
Even if no cheating goes down, Chelsea’s mind would inevitably sink to some dark places. She’d imagine Sharon and Adam doing plenty of dirty deeds on this potential trip!
