The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) may be furious after Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) accepts Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) job offer after all. The cop will likely trade his position at the GCPD for one in the dangerous Newman web – and Rey will be going against Sharon’s wishes if he does!
Rey immediately turned down Victor’s offer, but perhaps he was too quick to reject the idea of working for Vic’s private security firm. Victor shrugged off the rejection by pointing out that situations change.
It almost seemed like Victor expected Rey to come around sooner or later, so that’s probably what’s going to happen.
Despite dismissing the job offer, Rey was intrigued by the possibility of more time with Sharon and a less risky work environment.
Of course, there are different types of danger! Rey may not be putting his life on the line as often if he works for Victor, but Y&R fans know the job could be dangerous in other ways.
Sharon was immediately wary when she heard about Victor’s job offer and was quite relieved to hear Rey declined to take it. She knows it could lead to trouble if Rey gets caught up in the Newman world.
Victor isn’t someone Sharon wants her husband working for, but Rey may quit his job at the police department and take the job Victor offered anyway.
Sharon has been telling herself she wants a good guy like Rey, but what if she fears he’s veering into bad boy territory?
Perhaps Sharon will end up wondering why she’s not with Adam instead! She might feel a bit cheated in a way if Rey becomes some kind of Newman soldier.
Sharon seemingly only stuck with Rey because he was the anti-Adam – at least the old version of him.
Now Adam has made improvements to his life, but Rey may make some negative changes and leave Sharon questioning everything.
Sharon may not even know what she wants anymore since we’ll have the bad boy who’s turned good and the good guy who’s perhaps turning a bit bad.
Whatever the case, Sharon and Rey’s marriage could take another hit due to Victor’s job offer, which should become an actual job if Victor gets his way.
Victor tends to emerge victorious when he wants something, so he may welcome Rey to the team soon enough.
