The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) could be in grave danger after Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) steals her freedom. This disturbed escapee could seek scary revenge or at least refuse to let Sharon hinder her plans.
Sharon recently went off on a second honeymoon with Rey, so that news certainly didn’t thrill Chelsea. The thought of Sharon’s relationship surviving and thriving after everything that happened isn’t something Chelsea’s pleased about.
Although Chelsea considers Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be her biggest enemy, that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten about her grudge against Sharon.
Since Chelsea’s mental state is only getting worse, that means Chelsea’s desire for vengeance could get worse, too.
Chelsea’s priorities are getting out of her psychiatric facility and reclaiming Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) before Adam poisons their son against her.
Adam obviously isn’t going to fill Connor’s head with negativity regarding his mom, but Chelsea’s stuck on the idea anyway.
Once Rey and Sharon are back in town during the week of July 5-9, Chelsea’s mind may drift back to her hatred for “the other woman.”
We know Chelsea will try to come up with an escape plot, so that presents the possibility that Sharon will be at risk.
Even if Chelsea holds herself back from targeting Sharon and focuses on Connor, there’s the potential for trouble. Y&R fans know Chelsea attacked Sharon before a previous Genoa City escape a few years back.
Chelsea knocked Sharon out in Crimson Lights before fleeing, so the show could repeat history here if Sharon gets in the way.
Regardless, Chelsea has gone on unsettling rants about Sharon and has shown signs that she’s a real danger to Adam’s other former flame. Once Chelsea’s on the loose, Sharon could definitely be in jeopardy.
Adam will feel horrible if something happens to Sharon due to Chelsea’s unhinged mental state since he believes he’s partially responsible.
