The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease the honeymoon will soon be over for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) – in more ways than one! Y&R fans know Sharon and Rey recently had a lovely wedding ceremony at Society, where they celebrated their love for each other.
Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) feels like Rey has found the person he’s meant to be with and expects this “Shey” union to stand the test of time. However, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is always going to be a wildcard in Sharon and Rey’s relationship.
Adam has caused issues in the past and will cause even more issues in 2021.
Rey and Sharon are set to kick off a Miami honeymoon the morning after their wedding. There could be a problem if Sharon gets updates on Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) ruptured brain aneurysm and stroke complications.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will face some difficulties when it comes to distancing herself from Adam.
It’s possible that Sharon will seem uneasy about heading off on this honeymoon under the circumstances. Sharon might even suggest delaying it. She’d probably have to come with another excuse if that’s the case, but Rey’s a detective and may figure out Adam’s at the heart of Sharon’s desire to be near GC.
Of course, the problem could easily happen in Miami instead. Perhaps Sharon will insist everything’s fine, but we might see her distracted in a honeymoon suite at some point. Rey may get the feeling that Sharon’s body is there, but her mind is somewhere else – specifically with Adam and what he’s going through.
Sharon’s huge heart and giving nature are two big reasons why Rey fell in love with her. Rey can’t fault Sharon for caring, but there’s going to be trouble after Sharon and Adam start bonding once more. The Young and the Restless spoilers point to Rey’s jealousy revving up again in the coming months.
In other words, it doesn’t sound like Sharon and Rey will get much of a happy newlywed period. Rey will eventually realize their marriage isn’t going to change Sharon’s old connection with Adam.
Sharon will have to figure out if she’ll act on that connection – and Rey will have to figure out how much he’s willing to tolerate!
