The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) may thwart Chance Chancellor’s (last played by Donny Boaz) homecoming. Will Stitch make this dad miss the baby’s birth and steal Chance’s spot by Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) side?
Stitch showed up out of the blue after a couple strange incidents on the Chancellor grounds. Fans saw a shadowy figure standing over Abby as she slept on the couch – and then someone was looking through the window as well.
Stitch was apparently behind both incidents along with another window peeping moment on the July 2 Y&R episode.
This clearly isn’t normal behavior, so we have every reason to be concerned about Stitch’s mental state and growing obsession with Abby.
Stitch seems to have lost it somewhat due to Max Rayburn’s (Jared Breeze) decline. He never moved on from Abby and is watching his son fade away, so it’s taken a toll.
Now Stitch seems to want Abby back and may want to replace the baby they lost in a way. Stitch may view this as the perfect opportunity to get back the family he wanted with Abby.
Y&R viewers know Stitch was quite curious about Chance’s mission and asked if he’d be back for the birth. Abby was so certain that Chance would be, but she’s not counting on Stitch to potentially intervene!
Since Stitch has become a stalker and is so good at sneaking around, perhaps Stitch could lie in wait and make sure Chance doesn’t come home to Abby – even after his mission is complete.
Stitch might ambush Chance and take him out of the picture. He could determine that if Chance misses the birth, it’ll be the beginning of the end for Chance and Abby’s marriage.
Stitch could step up as the guy by Abby’s side and hope he could ultimately serve as this baby’s father figure.
Again, Stitch obviously isn’t himself these days and seemingly needs mental help.
It’s wise to expect Stitch to go off the rails in some way, so thwarting Chance’s homecoming seems like something he might do.
