The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) new boyfriend may capture her heart, so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could find out the truth about Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) threats too late!
In the Monday, June 28 episode, Summer assures Kyle that she’ll move on and adds that he will, too. Although Summer will have this new job to keep her busy, she’s bound to get lonely over in Milan.
Since Summer feels like she has no choice but to let go of Kyle, there’s no reason for her to stay single.
Summer could easily do what Kyle did when he tried to get over her in New York. She could fill the void by dating someone else and perhaps get quite a surprise when she finds a real connection with a hunk in Italy.
This is the perfect opportunity to send Summer off canvas for a bit and have her come home with a boyfriend the next time she visits.
Then again, maybe Kyle could expose Tara’s scheme with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and catch the first flight to Milan – only to find out Summer’s happy in a new relationship.
If the guy answers Summer’s door looking scantily clad, that’d be even better! Summer and Kyle are star-crossed lovers, so there always seems to be some obstacle standing in their way.
Even after Tara’s actions come to light, it may not be as simple as Kyle rushing to Summer’s side and reuniting with her.
Y&R could easily throw in another hurdle – and that hurdle could be the new man in Summer’s life. After all, if Summer says she’s going to move on, we might as well believe her!
Summer will need someone to help her cope with the pain of this huge sacrifice, so Kyle may face more heartbreak.
By the time Kyle figures out Tara is backstabbing nightmare of a woman, he may have serious competition for Summer’s heart. We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
