The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) could have a surprise pregnancy in her future, so that might shut down Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) Italy plans. Will Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) get a baby brother or sister?
If Summer ends up pregnant by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), that could change her life in a big way. It could also affect Sally’s scheme to send Summer out of town for a new job at a fashion house.
Sally would love to see Summer catch a one-way flight to Italy, but a baby bomb could derail her manipulation.
During a recent conversation between Summer and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Y&R dropped some dialogue hints about a potential pregnancy for Summer.
Jack suggested that Summer would give Kyle another child when the time was right. He offered some sweet words about the topic and felt confident Summer would be an amazing mother.
Summer’s making a real effort to get to know Harrison as she prepares to slide in the stepmother role. She’s practicing in a way for when she’s potentially a mom to her own little boy or girl.
Summer could be poised to give Harrison a half-sibling through Kyle sooner than she thinks.
Even if Sally, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and even Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) manage to cause drama, a baby could strengthen “Skyle” once again.
If Kyle and Summer’s relationship ends up on the rocks, a pregnancy shocker could be the joyous news that makes them come together again. It could also stop Summer from taking that job in Italy – no matter how tempting it might be.
Plenty of Summer and Kyle fans are rooting for these two to have a baby of their own at some point. It would certainly level the playing field and eliminate any upper hand Tara might think she has.
Harrison may not be Kyle’s only child for long – that is if Harrison is even legitimately Kyle’s son. There’s always the potential for some DNA funny business on a soap, so that’s important to keep in mind.
If Kyle ultimately learns Harrison isn’t his kid after all, it’d be nice for him to know he’s got another one on the way by Summer.
