The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will leak Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) health crisis video and betray Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the process. This will force Ashland’s public confession and shake things up, so let’s talk about the hot drama ahead.
After Ashland and Tara get their wires crossed on what day he’s supposed to visit Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), Ashland will have an angry outburst in the park.
Ashland won’t realize Tara has just asked Sally to record a video of her playing with Harrison.
The result will be a recording of Ashland looking both seriously ill and berating Tara like a monster.
Tara will tell Sally she’s deleting the video, but she won’t fill Sally in on the copy she sends herself.
That’ll leave Tara with some serious power – and it looks like she’ll use it swiftly by making sure that video leaks online.
After that, Y&R spoilers say Ashland will have a choice to make. He can continue to pretend nothing’s wrong despite the new evidence for all to see – or he can just tackle the crisis head-on.
Ashland will tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he’s choosing the latter, so that means making a public statement involving his lung cancer.
Victoria and Ashland will be ready to publicly reveal their merger news as well, so this will be a major announcement that covers a lot of info.
Ashland will hope he can change the narrative and steer away from the bleak nature of his condition – at least the condition he claims to have.
There’s always a chance this is one big mind game since we know Ashland enjoys playing them.
Ashland loves Harrison, but he may think the kid’s young enough that he won’t really be affected by any of this.
It’s also possible that Ashland is indeed ill – just not quite as ill as he seems. There’s a difference between being sick and dying.
Regardless, Ashland’s feelings for Victoria certainly appear to be legit – and that goes both ways.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria and Ashland will grow even closer, but there are still some layers to peel back and secrets to unravel.
If Ashland has been lying about a bogus condition or simply exaggerating its severity, Victoria may be in for a rude awakening.
Whatever the case, Ashland and Victoria will stand together for the upcoming merger announcement and public cancer statement.
As for Sally, she won’t be happy when she realizes Tara has gone behind her back to release that video.
Since Sally recorded it, she could wind up getting accused at some point. Tara and Sally are bound to clash, but a blackmail stalemate could keep them from pushing each other too far!
