The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) may seduce Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) after facing a Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) failure. Going for Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) rich grandpa may be the next best thing, but Sally will be livid if Tara steals Jack’s heart!
Sally admitted she had fallen in love with Jack and warned that her feelings weren’t going to change. Just because Sally isn’t actively pursuing Jack anymore doesn’t mean she’s forgotten about what she felt for him.
Sally was quite smitten with Jack and will certainly be jealous if he falls for someone else.
That’s especially true if that someone is Tara! Of course, Tara would rather be with Kyle as the younger Abbott she has a history with. Kyle is Harrison’s father – at least if the paternity test is to be believed.
It makes sense that Tara will exhaust all options as she tries to get Kyle to fall back in love with her – just like Sally wants.
However, that may not be an easy task considering Kyle’s deep feelings for Summer Newman (Hunter King). Like Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) pointed out, Summer and Kyle just keep coming back to each other.
The only reason Kyle was off going wild in the Hamptons was to forget the pain of losing Summer. Kyle struggled and wound up having an affair with Tara as a result. It wouldn’t have even happened if Kyle hadn’t been in such an emotionally vulnerable state at the time.
Kyle has grown up a lot since then and may not be as easy of a target these days. It’s true that Kyle trusts Tara and has a connection with her, but he hasn’t crossed any lines so far.
If Tara makes her move, Kyle could easily reject her and insist Summer is the only woman for him.
Kyle might try to get it through Tara’s head that they’re over romantically – though he’ll happily co-parent with Tara when it comes to Harrison. Despite initially acting like Sally’s idea of winning Kyle back was ridiculous, it’s something Tara’s going to decide she’s all in on.
Failure could mean moving to a backup strategy – and Jack seems like a great one.
If Kyle makes it crystal clear he’s not interested and never will be again, could Tara her sights on Jack? There has to be a reason why Tara and Jack have been bonding as well.
Jack clearly cares about both Harrison and Tara, so Y&R may be setting the stage for something to happen between Tara and Kyle’s dad.
Can you imagine Sally’s reaction if Tara and Jack begin a new relationship? A jealous war could be brewing sooner or later! As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
