The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) may steal Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) JCV dream. What happens if Tara gets greedy and wants the job running the company for herself? Will Tara stab her new ally in the back?
Y&R has repeatedly offered clues about Tara being untrustworthy, but trust is exactly what this partnership between Sally and Tara requires.
Sally needs Tara to trust her – and she needs to be able to trust Tara right back. However, both Tara and Sally would be wise to stay on guard!
Although Sally and Tara may successfully convince Summer Newman (Hunter King) to leave her job at JCV and move on at Marchetti, that doesn’t guarantee the rest of Sally’s plan will work.
Sally’s goal is to run JCV instead, but we can’t forget that Tara’s looking for a good job and a way to make money.
Tara told Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about her less than profitable shoe line, but Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) had only positive things to say. Lauren seems quite impressed with Tara’s work and wants to collaborate, so there’s the opportunity for advancement.
Tara also has some business knowledge due to being married to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) all those years.
There’s surely a reason why Lauren seems so determined to make Tara part of the team at Fenmore’s. It could be the show’s way of positioning Tara in just the right spot for a shocker.
As Tara continues to charm Lauren, she could be poised to get the offer to replace Summer instead. It makes sense as the ultimate cruel twist of fate.
Sally has warned Summer before that she’d take both her man and her job, but it may be Tara who does all that instead!
Tara could even blackmail Sally by threatening to tell everyone about their alliance and the setup to get Summer out of town. Perhaps Tara could argue that Sally can either keep her current job or lose her fresh start completely.
It might be fun to see the tables turned on Sally, but she’d no doubt fight to turn them once again.
