The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, April 15 Recap – Adam Leaving Town – Rey Done with Sharon – Chloe Ditches Chelsea

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 15, reveals that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will toss and turn in bed until Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) returns to their suite. Summer will admit she had a nightmare that Kyle left her for Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).

In this bad dream, Kyle moved to New York to be closer to his son – and Tara left Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to be with Kyle. An embarrassed Summer will admit it felt real, but she’ll tell Kyle she doesn’t really believe he’d leave her to be with Tara.

Kyle will hate that Summer even worried about it on a subconscious level and will insist Tara was a million years ago as far as he’s concerned.

Summer and Kyle will agree that whatever Ashland has in store won’t affect them as a couple. Kyle will think they should do something about their love and commitment.

Kyle will declare that he wants to be more than engaged. Kyle will want to be married, so he’ll suggest setting a wedding date – the sooner, the better.

After Summer talks about all the wedding planning they’ll have to do, she’ll want to practice for their wedding night. Once they make love, Kyle will take a call from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about untrue rumblings regarding the unsafe working conditions at Jabot.

Kyle will tell Summer it’s too soon to jump to conclusions, but he’ll know they can’t rule Ashland out as the one behind this.

At Society, Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) will find Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) drinking alone and push to hear all about her problems. She’ll ultimately guess this has something to do with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Sally will admit things are over and will talk about how people have the wrong impression of her as a gold digger. Her interest in Jack was so much more.

After Sally gushes about all the things she likes about Jack, Gloria will offer some advice. She’ll think Jack is an extraordinary man with a great capacity for forgiveness.

Gloria will think that if Jack heard what she heard tonight from Sally, he might come around. Sally will doubt that she can get Jack to trust her again, but Gloria will think it’s at least worth a shot.

Meanwhile, Jack will make his way back to The Grand Phoenix to rant at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) over all the manipulation that was going on behind his back. Phyllis will insist she was looking out for her daughter and won’t be sorry that Jack saw Sally’s true colors.

Jack will confess that he enjoyed his time with Sally and is sad that it’s over. Phyllis will think maybe this was the universe’s way of protecting Jack, but he’ll point out Phyllis was the one protecting him.

Phyllis will suggest that maybe she was put on this earth to keep an eye on Jack. She’ll offer to vet Jack’s future women, but he’ll pass on that and start to leave.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will enter as Jack’s on his way out, so she’ll make a speech about how she wasn’t with him because of his money, last name or what he could do for her. She’ll apologize for slipping up and will insist Jack matters to her a lot.

Sally will vow to prove that to Jack, but it won’t change anything for him. Jack will insist they both need to go their separate ways – and Phyllis will look pleased as punch as she listens nearby.

Afterward, Phyllis will inform Sally that she has until tomorrow to vacate the premises.

Sally will warn that Phyllis doesn’t want to do that, but Phyllis will insist she just did. She’ll plaster on a phony smile and tell Sally to enjoy her last night at the hotel.

When Sally says Phyllis will regret this and everything else she’s done to her, Phyllis will tell Sally to bring it.

At home, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will fill Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) in on his conversation with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), which didn’t offer any new information.

Sharon will wonder if it’d really be such a bad thing if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is gone for good, but Rey will seem skeptical that Sharon would really be OK with that outcome.

Sharon will wish Adam had turned himself in, but she’ll acknowledge that his disappearance might be for the best under the circumstances. That said, Sharon will hope the truth comes out – meaning that Chelsea set Adam up.

Sharon will push Rey to admit it’s a possibility, so he’ll suggest he doesn’t know what to believe.

Sharon will think it’s a big deal that Rey’s even acknowledging the possibility and will take that as a symbol of Rey’s trust in her. “My trust in you? What about your trust in me?” Rey will reply. He’ll lash out over Sharon lying to his face about being in touch with Adam repeatedly.

Rey will feel like Sharon always puts Adam first – and that’s at the core of their issues. Rey will argue that Sharon’s heart is with Adam and he feels ridiculous thinking that could change.

Sharon will wonder what Rey’s saying, so he’ll admit Sharon doesn’t love him the way he needs her to.

Rey will feel like they’ve talked and talked, but it never does any good. Although Rey will stick around until Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) get back on her feet, after that – he’s done.

“I am moving out, and there is nothing you can say or do that will change my mind,” Rey will tell Sharon on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

At the Newman ranch, Adam will imagine Sharon standing there. This vision of Sharon will point out that Adam always runs and she always follows. “Even after everything, you expect me to be with you again, don’t you?” imaginary Sharon will ask. Adam will insist he knows they’ll never be together again.

Next, it’ll be Chelsea who appears in Adam’s head. She’ll point out that Adam hid out at the same cottage where he previously betrayed Chelsea by hiding Sharon there.

Imaginary Chelsea will argue that Adam is now at the Newman ranch, where he tortured Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) with his lies and where Adam almost cost Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) his life.

This Chelsea illusion will point out that Adam can’t hide from himself and is probably asking himself how he got here.

Chelsea will rant that this is years in the making – the result of selfish choices and cruelty. She’ll argue that Adam demands that people accept his sins and only offers pain and betrayal in return.

Adam will fire back about Chelsea’s betrayal and wonder how she could that to him. Suddenly, the vision of Sharon will appear again. “Because you destroy everyone you love,” fantasy Sharon will declare.

Adam will insist he’s working on being a better person, but the Sharon vision will see no evidence of that and will point out how he broke Chelsea. Imaginary Chelsea will pipe up that she was able to get away with her setup because Adam turned his back on her.

Chelsea will claim she did what Adam wished he could’ve done to Rey himself. “That’s a lie,” Adam will fire back.

These Chelsea and Sharon visions will gang up on Adam to insist he’s not worthy of love or forgiveness. Adam will confess that he’s hurt everyone who’s ever mattered to him – that he’s only brought Chelsea and Sharon pain.

“So what are you going to do about it?” imaginary Sharon will ask. Suddenly, the visions will disappear as Adam sits alone in the living room.

At the penthouse, Victor will show up and kick Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) out so he can speak with Chelsea alone. Chelsea will assume Victor heard that she regained her speech and will ask if there’s been any news about Adam.

Victor will push Chelsea to drop the act and confess now – or else it’ll be a long and painful process of the truth coming out.

After Victor rants about Chelsea’s setup and Chloe’s assistance, Chelsea will pretend she’s hurt over the accusation. She’ll ask if it was Sharon or Adam who put this notion in Victor’s head. Victor will fire back that he’s always known Chelsea was a “low-life grifter.”

Chelsea will insist Victor is wrong and warn that she won’t be intimidated by him since she’s telling the truth. As Victor gets up to leave, he’ll ask Chelsea how it feels to lie so blatantly. “Don’t you forget…I warned you,” Victor will say as he exits.

When Victor finds Adam at the ranch, he’ll be upset when Adam reveals he’s leaving town. Adam will think he might repeat the same mistakes if he sticks around, but he’ll still want to be a father to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Adam will want to raise Connor the way he was raised on the farm, but Victor will question the decision to pull Connor out of boarding school with the cops after Adam.

However, Adam will have a plan and will push Victor to trust that he knows what he’s doing. After Victor confirms that he trusts Adam, he’ll vow to keep doing everything he can to prove Adam’s innocence.

When it comes to Chelsea, Adam won’t want Victor going after her. He’ll insist he doesn’t want to see Chelsea hurt any more than she’s already been hurt.

Back at the penthouse, Chelsea will shout about feeling suffocated by Chloe’s negativity. Chloe will decide she’s leaving, but Chelsea will protest that they’re in this together.

Chloe will think it’s more like Chelsea dragged her into this mess without giving her all the facts. She’ll want to be home with her family, but Chelsea will whine about what it’s going to look like if Chloe leaves like this.

Chloe will guess that Chelsea will just have to find a nurse who can start tomorrow or else take another miraculous step in her recovery. “I’m sure you’ll figure something out. You always do,” Chloe will snarl before slamming out.
