The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 16, tease that we’ll see Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) cover-up along with Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) turnaround. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also demand Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) honesty, so there’ll be several storylines heating up in Thursday’s stunning episode.
For starters, Sally will realize she needs to hide the trail she’s left behind.
Sally’s the one who’s been spying on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) around town, but she won’t want Billy, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) or Adam to know that. Unfortunately, all three of them will already be privy to Sally’s plans.
Sally will do her best to conceal that she’s the source of the anonymous videos, but Adam tricked her into spying from the get-go.
Adam knew that by telling Sally to just forget the idea, he’d make it downright impossible for Sally to avoid keeping an eye on Billy and reporting back.
Whether Adam admits his game or not, there’s more going on here than he realizes.
Billy wants Adam to believe he’s spinning out – and Sally is playing right into Billy’s hand. That could spell trouble for Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as this hot plot moves along.
In the meantime, Chelsea will enjoy catching up with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) at the penthouse. Connor and Chelsea will definitely be excited about spending the holidays together.
There’ll be some sweet mother-son bonding moments, so Adam will be pleased to see Chelsea and Connor reconnecting so easily.
Chelsea will hope that maybe she can get things back on track with Adam as well, so she’ll once again push for a conversation about where they stand.
After Chelsea reminds Adam of the love they once shared, she’ll push him to be honest about his feelings for her.
Chelsea will wonder if Adam can truly say their love is all in the past, so Adam will have to proceed with caution here.
Adam won’t be interested in a romantic reunion, but he’ll try to soften the blow while still being firm enough for Chelsea to understand. The goal will be to make that sink in without causing any emotional turmoil.
Chelsea will have to deal with yet another rejection, but she won’t give up on putting her family back together.
Chelsea will soon decide Sally may be the biggest obstacle in her path and will want to clear her out of the way.
As for Tessa, she’ll change her mind about something on Thursday’s Y&R episode.
Tessa’s abrupt turnaround should come as a surprise – perhaps to Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) if this involves going in another direction for her cover art.
Tessa seems to be picking up on Noah’s lingering interest and looks rather uncomfortable at times, so she may worry working with her ex isn’t such a good idea.
Then again, there could be something else Tessa does an about-face on, but some unexpected changes are brewing no matter what!
