The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that some ice storm drama is ahead in Genoa City. For starters, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will arrive at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place with a package that’s addressed to him.
Elena will explain that it was mistakenly delivered to the clinic, so Devon will thank her for dropping it by.
Of course, Devon may argue that it could’ve waited since the weather’s getting bad out there. He may invite Elena to stay, but it appears she’ll decline – that is until her car refuses to start!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will end up crashing at Devon’s place for the night, so he’ll use this chance to get some closure.
Devon will hope to avoid another situation where the person he loves is attracted to someone else. He’ll try to nail down when Elena developed feelings for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but she’ll confess that it’s Devon she loved all along.
Nate was just a stand-in for Devon since he was devoting too much time to Amanda.
Previous Y&R spoilers pointed to a kiss between Devon and Elena, but it looks like they may go all the way with a lovemaking session. The point is things are definitely going to heat up, but Elena and Devon won’t feel how they thought they’d feel in the aftermath!
In the meantime, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get into an argument about Sharon’s decision to help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Rey may remind Sharon that she said Chelsea didn’t even like having her around, but that’s pretty much the point. If Chelsea’s agitated, it’ll spark something in her and keep her recovery moving along.
Putting Chelsea aside, Rey will undoubtedly feel like Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) using the situation to manipulate Sharon. Rey won’t like this at all and will push Sharon to cut Adam out of her life completely.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon won’t be on board with that plan, so that’ll leave Rey and Sharon at odds in Thursday’s episode.
Jordan (Madison Thompson) will keep pushing Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) into trouble by encouraging her to drink during this ice storm. The girls will partake of some vodka, but look for them to get busted thanks to a discovery Rey makes later this week.
Until then, we may see the beginning of some other ice storm bonding sessions. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get to know Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on a deeper level – and she’ll score some intriguing info about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) time in New York.
That’ll become important after Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) returns with a secret to spill next week.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will get stuck at Jabot with Summer during this ice storm, but they’ll make the best of it. Y&R fans will see lots of flirty fun, but there’ll be a moment when Kyle seems pensive.
Within the next episode or two, Kyle will flash back – at least in his own mind – to something from New York that he hasn’t divulged to Summer.
Of course, that secret will come into play as Sally plots her upcoming move. As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll bring you more details. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some surprising scenes are in store, so stay tuned.
