The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, June 10 Recap – Victoria Surrenders to Ashland – New Harrison Custody Deal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 10, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will surrender to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), who’ll offer a new Harrison custody deal beforehand. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also blast Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will put it together that Ashland must be behind the New York City invite.

Victoria will insist they’re just friends, but Nikki won’t think Ashland seems like the kind of man who pursues friends in such a determined manner.

Victoria will argue that she’s been supporting Ashland through a rough time. She’ll keep bringing up Nikki’s relationship with ruthless Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and trying to act like her mom’s in no position to judge.

Nikki will worry Victoria’s being used as a rebound, but Victoria will counter that she’s not looking for some deep commitment. She’ll suggest she might even be having impure thoughts!

Victoria will add that she’s just taking Nikki’s advice about not working all the time and trying to meet new people.

At the Abbott mansion, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will insist that Ashland can’t ask her to cut Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) out of Harrison’s life. It’ll be an impossible choice in Tara’s eyes.

Ashland will think it’s simple since choosing to keep Kyle in the picture means no financial support.

Kyle will pipe up about how he already feels connected to Harrison, who’s a great kid. He’ll praise Ashland and Tara for being good parents before pushing Ashland to continue that trend.

Kyle won’t want Ashland to take his anger out on Tara and force him to stay away from Harrison.

Ashland will admit that after some thought, he’s decided that he doesn’t want Harrison to resent him for cutting Kyle out. He’ll withdraw the ultimatum and reveal plans for a fair shared custody agreement instead.

Ashland will note that Kyle’s visits with Harrison will have to come out of Tara’s time, but he’ll vow not to stand in the way.

While Ashland’s upstairs visiting Harrison, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will express relief over the compromise. Kyle will still worry about whether Ashland can be trusted.

Once Ashland returns, he’ll warn Tara that the prenup still stands. Ashland will add that Tara will be getting far less alimony due to her cheating, but Tara will point out her cheating is the reason they have a son.

Once Ashland is gone, Kyle will want Tara’s honest opinion about whether this is legit or a mind game. Tara will suggest that Ashland seemed sincere, but Kyle will sense that something’s still bothering her.

That’ll lead Tara to consider what changed Ashland’s mind since it’s not like him to reverse course because of Kyle’s speech.

At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will corner Ashland at the bar and push him to keep his end of the bargain. She’ll remind Ashland that the deal would benefit him as well since Kyle couldn’t stand by and let Summer go to Italy alone.

Sally will argue that Kyle would go with Summer if she took the job offer – meaning his time with Harrison would be little to none.

After Sally entices Ashland with the chance at being the only father figure in Harrison’s life, he’ll admit he’s only one investor and isn’t in charge of the hiring at Marketi. However, Ashland will suggest he owns a big enough piece that they have to listen to him.

If the CEO wants to hire Summer, Ashland can get the other investors to support that. He’ll hand Sally a card and tell her to call Eric Forrester (John McCook), so that’ll leave Sally sighing in frustration.

On his way out of Society, Ashland will call Victoria and give her one last chance to take him up on his offer. It’ll take some flirty convincing, but Victoria will finally cave in. “What the hell! Let’s go to New York,” Victoria will say with a smile.

At Crimson Lights, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will talk to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) about all the planted evidence and express doubt that Chelsea really pulled everything off on her own.

Unfortunately, Michael will have to admit Chloe would be the most likely accomplice. He won’t like the idea of his sister-in-law getting arrested.

Rey will seem compassionate as he talks about Chelsea and will admit he sympathizes with all Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) victims – even Chloe.

At Chelsea’s psychiatric facility, she’ll be excited about seeing Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) when he comes back to town. Adam will question if that’s really a good idea and will think they should wait until Chelsea’s feeling better.

Chelsea will fly into a rage about Adam’s plan all along being to keep her son away and poison Connor against her.

Adam will insist it would confuse and scare Connor to see Chelsea like this. He’ll push Chelsea to do what’s best for their son and will trust that her doctors would agree.

Chelsea will be sick of everyone acting like she’s too crazy to live her life. “The truth of the matter is that the sanest thing I’ve ever done is to…” Chelsea will say before trailing off.

Adam will push Chelsea to continue, but she’ll calm down and cover by suggesting getting help was the sanest decision. She’ll get Adam to swear that Chelsea can see Connor after her release. Chelsea will argue that Adam had better not be playing her since that’d be a mistake.

When Rey arrives, Adam will suggest that the detective must be after something if he’s coming to see the woman who tried to kill him.

Adam will want to protect Chelsea from Rey’s harassment and coercion. After Adam exits, Chelsea will wonder if Adam’s right – if she has a reason to be suspicious of Rey.

Rey will argue that it’s in his detective nature to look out for trouble. He’ll assure Chelsea that he agrees with the judge’s decision and wants to help her. Chelsea will gladly join Rey in bashing Adam before learning Rey’s headed on a second honeymoon with Sharon.

“Good for you…and her,” Chelsea will say unconvincingly. Before Rey goes, he’ll want to ask Chelsea about the logistics of how she pulled off poisoning him and framing Adam.

Rey will push for details, but Chelsea will flip out and argue that Adam was right. She won’t think Rey believes her, so she’ll push him to just go on vacation and leave her there to rot.

When Rey reconvenes with Michael, he’ll recap the visit and how Chelsea’s coming unglued. Although Rey will sense that Chelsea was holding back and putting on a bit of a performance, he’ll know she’s genuinely unwell.

Rey will think justice has been served when it comes to Chelsea – but he won’t be so sure he’d go as easy on Chloe.

In the park, Adam will run into Chloe and encourage her to visit Chelsea since she could use a friend. He’ll also wonder if Chloe’s given any more thought to his offer.

Although Chloe will still think it seems more like a bribe, she’ll decide to take Adam up on it.

Chloe will warn that Adam had better not be messing with her before he vows to have the contracts drawn up – including a provision for Chelsea. Adam will also thank Chloe for being a friend to Chelsea before he walks off.

When Chloe shows up at the psychiatric facility, Chelsea will be relieved to see someone she can be totally honest with. She’ll worry Chloe when she reveals that she almost blurted everything out to Adam.

Chloe won’t like the sound of Rey’s visit either, but Chelsea will promise she’d never throw Chloe under the bus.

Next, Chloe will reveal that she bumped into Adam, who offered her a job. Chelsea will laugh at Adam’s attempt to get Chloe to take over a new online fashion platform.

Chelsea will think Adam’s wasting energy since Chloe obviously isn’t going to take the position. Chloe will stun Chelsea by admitting she already did.

Chelsea will rant about how she’s locked up while everyone else is acting crazy. Chloe will argue that they could run it together once Chelsea’s released. Plus, Chloe will confess to needing the money.

Chelsea will fire back that this is like the worst decision Chloe’s ever made! She’ll refuse to let Adam control and dismantle her world.

Chelsea will declare that she has to find a way out of there as she moves toward the door and places a hand on the window. Chloe will stand there looking quite concerned about Chelsea’s state of mind.
