The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, March 25, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will track Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) down and hurl accusations.
Adam initially suspected Chloe might’ve been behind the mysterious texts to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but he later shifted his suspicions to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Adam wondered if Chelsea might’ve hidden her recovery progress and sent the messages herself. However, Adam ultimately shook off that idea and will circle back around to Chloe as his top suspect.
Y&R spoilers say Adam will corner Chloe and verbally attack her on Thursday’s episode, but Chloe will fire back.
There’ll be a fierce faceoff as Chloe denies sending the texts – though she might hope Chelsea recovers and gets as far away from Adam as possible. Depending on exactly how Chloe responds, Adam might begin to suspect that Chloe and Chelsea are in cahoots.
As for Chelsea, it looks like she’ll have another appointment with Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks), which could bring some close calls. Chelsea was proud of herself for fooling Dr. Cavett with the stalled recovery last time, but will she be as lucky on Thursday?
Dr. Cavett might see a positive sign or two despite Chelsea’s best efforts to cover.
Regardless, this is all building to a moment when Chelsea lowers her guard and gets busted by Adam!
Either at the end of Thursday’s episode or on Friday’s show, March 26, Chelsea will relax in her wheelchair and smile. She’ll let herself get comfortable as Adam opens the door and fumes over proof that Chelsea’s been lying.
In the meantime, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will think Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has to face the harsh reality of the situation. Since someone has poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Nick may side with Rey when he immediately points the finger at Adam.
Nick might argue that Adam’s the only who who’s capable and would want to target Rey like this.
Sharon will initially hold out hope that maybe Rey’s got an old enemy through his policework – like someone he helped put behind bars or somebody he testified against. However, new evidence may surface that gives the cops another reason to look more closely at Adam.
Sharon will ultimately come to blame Adam soon enough, but he’ll insist he’s being framed. Of course, things aren’t as they seem in this storyline. If Chelsea is indeed responsible for this poison plot, she could face major consequences eventually.
Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll play Cupid – perhaps for Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), who’s interested in a boy and will hang out at the ranch soon. Nikki might encourage Faith to go on a date with the guy she’s been texting, but heartbreak is brewing.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith will soon realize it’s been sneaky Jordan (Madison Thompson) all along! There was never any secret admirer, so Faith will sink to a dark place and set herself up for trouble.
Finally, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will call Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) out on Thursday, March 25. He won’t think there’s any evidence to support Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is dangerous and shady. Unless Phyllis can provide some, Jack may think she needs to let this go for good.
