The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, November 18 Recap – Abby Finds Chance Alive – Billy Fears Arrest

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 18, reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will find Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) alive while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fears arrest over Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) proof.

At the ranch on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will bring Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor by for a visit at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) request.

Victor and Devon will worry about Abby leaving town, especially considering her state of mind.

At Crimson Lights, Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will tell Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) about meeting Dominic this morning.

Faith will get updates on Devon taking the baby for a while and know Abby must’ve been a real mess if she felt she couldn’t take care of him.

In a motel room, Abby will talk to Chance as she looks through his old keepsake box. She won’t be able to stop the feeling in her heart that Chance is out there alive.

Abby will hear Chance’s voice guiding her as she finds a medal and recalls how he felt he didn’t deserve it. Chance thought the medics on that mission were the true heroes.

Abby will find a photo of Kim Dunaway (Roxanne Hart) and Errol Dunaway from 2008. She’ll recall that they were a medic couple in Iraq who treated Chance like a son and would do anything for him.

After Abby finds an address on a letter and does some digging online, she’ll realize Kim and Errol are living on an island not too far off the Spanish coast of Valencia. Abby will narrow it down to a small port and call the operator, who’ll connect her to the Dunaways’ number.

After Kim answers, Abby will identify herself as Chance’s wife. She’ll want to know if Kim or her husband had any contact with Chance in the last six months.

There’ll be a long pause before Kim nervously claims Abby has the wrong number. Abby will protest, but Kim will once again insist this is the wrong number and will blame a bad connection before hanging up.

Later, Kim will call back and admit she had to step outside to do this under wraps. She’ll reveal that Chance is alive and staying there, but she’ll add that he’s in a bad way and needs Abby. A relieved Abby will be overcome with emotion as she processes this amazing news.

Back in Genoa City, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will hit publish on a brief retraction statement after pulling an all-nighter with Billy. When Rey arrives, he’ll mention Adam has a recording to back up his blackmail accusation.

After Rey plays the recording Adam sent to his phone, Billy will act like it was a business negotiation that was taken out of context.

Billy will add that it’s not admissible in court since he didn’t authorize anyone to record him.

However, Rey will mention the video Gaines sent, which supports Adam’s claims of blackmail. Lily will then wonder if this is an official investigation and if they need to call lawyers.

Billy will ask if Rey’s there to arrest him, but Rey will insist he’s just being thorough before he presents anything to the DA.

Rey will urge Billy to hand over any evidence that the Newmans infiltrated their email system, so Billy will note that IT is working on that.

After Rey points out he has to follow the evidence, he’ll take off and leave Lily questioning what’s next. Billy will think there’s only one option and will decide to get Adam on the phone.

At Newman Media, Adam will be pleased over the retraction ChancComm printed. He’ll think Ashland is looking energized and will learn Ashland was approved for the experimental protocol, which he already received a full regiment of treatment for.

Ashland will add that he’s put their next move in motion and will almost feel bad for kicking Billy when he’s down – emphasis on almost!

Back with Billy, he’ll call Adam and demand to know what he wants. Adam will push Billy to fold and will offer to take the company off their hands at a fair price.

When Billy and Lily refuse to back down, Adam will warn them to prepare to be buried in lawsuits and legal fees.

Moments later, Lily and Billy will be served with Ashland’s lawsuit for libel. Billy will snarl that the gloves are off, but he’ll end up humbling himself before Victor later.

At the ranch, Billy will tell Victor to stop all the attacks and end this now. After Billy urges Victor to convince Ashland to drop the lawsuit, he’ll vow to step down from ChancComm in return.

Billy won’t think Lily deserves this and will plan to take the hit while she keeps running the company.

After Billy admits he failed and couldn’t hack it with the big boys, he’ll tell Victor that he wins. “Well, I’ll be damned,” a surprised Victor will declare.

As for Lily, she’ll run into Ashland at Society and rip into him. Lily will confess that she defended Ashland to Billy before and now wishes she hadn’t.

At the coffeehouse, Rey will speak about the case he’s dealing with in vague terms, but Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will know this is about the battle between Billy and Adam.

After Rey admits he’d like to end the war rather than facilitate it, Sharon will suggest that maybe it’s not Rey’s job to find a peaceful solution.

At Devon’s place, he’ll find a note on the floor from Abby. Devon will read that the only way Abby could do this is because she knows Dominic is safe with him.

Abby’s note will include an admission that this might take longer than she thought, so Devon will grow concerned.

“Abby, what the hell did you do?” Devon will wonder aloud. He’ll call Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) out of retirement again in hopes that she can track Abby down.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby and Chance’s reunion isn’t too far off, so stay tuned.
