The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 23, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will make a scandalous discovery about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gets a warning before her Tuscany fairytale wedding.
For starters, Billy will refuse to give up on uncovering all the dirty secrets Ashland is hiding. Now that Billy has caught a glimpse of Ashland with Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones), he’ll be determined to figure out what that tense conversation was about.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will team up with Lily to find out some shocking new intel, but it won’t be the whole story. Perhaps Billy will simply find out Ashland has been paying Gaines $300,000 a year to keep quiet about something.
Of course, Billy could also learn that Gaines is now demanding a lump sum payout of $3 million in cash. That’s obviously the kind of info that could make Billy think he’s on the verge of his own jackpot – a bombshell so big it could blow up the wedding.
Billy and Lily may realize that Ashland’s willing to pay millions to keep his history hidden, so that’s a huge deal.
However, it’s Victor who’ll take charge of the situation before the week’s over – and he’ll actually help Ashland try to keep Billy’s threat under control.
Based on spoilers for the week of September 27-October 1, Ashland’s secret involves his birth name of Bobby Defranco and a car crash he was supposedly killed in.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confront Ashland with that information and fill Victoria in next week, September 27 to October 1, but Victoria will get some guidance from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in the meantime.
On Thursday’s episode, Nikki will have some solid advice for the bride-to-be, so she may sense that Victoria’s nervous about marrying a man she doesn’t truly trust.
Nikki may advise Victoria to either accept her unanswered questions or force some answers out of Ashland before it’s too late.
Victoria can choose to move forward without knowing everything, but she’d be better off having all the facts.
Unfortunately, there’s always another secret to dig up when it comes to Ashland – and the biggest one of all just might come out in Italy ahead of the wedding.
Until then, let’s talk about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) bond with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Nick will certainly want to talk about it, especially after Jack’s latest confession.
Armed with confirmation that Jack still loves Phyllis and told her so, Nick will feel like Phyllis needs to be completely honest about that connection – for all their sakes.
Phyllis may assure Nick that there’s nothing to worry about, but it’s obvious this couple is on shaky ground!
