The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 13, teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will look forward to finalizing his Cyaxares deal with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). However, Ashland will meet with Victor at Society and mention Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) unfortunate legal situation.
Although Victor will insist the accusations are baseless, Ashland will think it’s only reasonable to readjust their deal due to the added risks. Victor will insist there’ll be no readjusting since he’s paying top dollar and will invite Ashland to take it or leave it.
When Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) returns home to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), he’ll reveal that Adam was gone from the house by the lake and didn’t leave much behind.
Rey will suggest that maybe someone tipped Adam off, but Sharon will swear she didn’t do that.
Talk will turn to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) suddenly regaining her ability to speak. Sharon will think that’s suspicious, but Rey will act like the stress of this Adam situation could’ve sparked a breakthrough.
Sharon will assume Rey’s going over to see Chelsea, so she’ll offer a warning. “If Adam is right, this woman is desperate and she’s dangerous. And she’s already tried to kill you once,” Sharon will insist.
At Chancellor Communications, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will announce to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that she needs to request a leave of absence.
After Amanda explains her birth mother asked her to defend Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) in a criminal case, Lily will ask what the connection is.
Amanda will claim that Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) works with Sutton and will note that it means a lot that her birth mom recommended her. She’ll insist she can’t pass up this opportunity, so Lily and Billy will completely understand.
When Amanda’s ready to come back, Billy will promise her job will be there waiting on her.
Once Amanda exits, Lily will admit the timing of their lawyer’s leave of absence couldn’t be worse. Suddenly, a call will come in from Ashland.
Billy and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get updates on Ashland having second thoughts about his deal with Victor, who’ll look irritated as Ashland discusses all this right in front of him.
Ashland will want Victoria and Billy to have a joint meeting with him at The Grand Phoenix, so they’ll agree to meet him at his suite in 20 minutes. After Ashland hangs up, he’ll point out Victor still has time to sweeten his offer.
Ashland will argue that it’s not his fault that Adam has gone rogue, but Victor will end the conversation and tell Ashland to have a nice day.
Once Victor’s alone, he’ll get Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on the phone and push to speak to him at the Newman ranch. Back with Billy, he’ll think he must’ve gotten through to Ashland.
Lily will argue that this feels like a trap, so if Billy wants to go this meeting – then he’s on his own.
At Crimson Lights, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will hate all the awkwardness with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and will hope they can be buddies again.
Nate will suggest that maybe they weren’t meant to be a couple, so Elena will pick up on that “maybe.” She’ll wonder some small part of Nate still thinks they still could be.
Elena will admit she’s not sure she can go back to being just friends – not when she still has feelings for Nate. After Elena insists she’s forgiven herself and is over Devon, Nate will be hesitant to pursue a romantic relationship again.
Even if Nate accepts that Elena has moved on from her ex, he’d always have to wonder if Devon wanted her back. Elena will get that she went back and forth too much. She’ll think she ruined any chance of being with Nate and will rush out as he tries to stop her.
At the ranch, Victor will come home and express surprise when he sees Adam in the living room. Adam will confess he didn’t have anywhere else to go. As Victor and Adam enjoy some scotch, Adam will be grateful his father still has faith in him.
Adam will admit he thinks Chelsea is setting him up and will learn that Chelsea spoke to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Sharon knowing where he was. Victor will ask if Adam turned to Sharon for help, so Adam will talk about that being a mistake.
Although Sharon helped initially, Adam felt like she was going to cave under the pressure. He’ll explain that he watched from the woods and bolted when Rey showed up.
Victor will insist that Adam should’ve come to him when he realized he’d been set up. He’ll add that Michael’s going to be there any minute, so Adam will be sent to hide out in the tack house.
Before Adam leaves, he’ll confess that Victor’s right – that he should’ve come to his dad from the beginning. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will dash out before Michael has a chance to catch him there.
At the penthouse on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Rey will hope he can ask Chelsea a few questions about Adam. Chelsea will pretend she can only speak softly and slowly.
Chelsea will lie that she thought Adam was a good man wrongfully accused, but now she’s ashamed because she’s been a fool.
Chelsea will claim that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) helped open her eyes. She’ll talk about how vicious the poisoning plot on Rey was.
Chelsea will point out that after she saw the photo of Adam and Sharon kissing, it clicked so many things into place. “Adam is obsessed with Sharon,” Chelsea will whisper.
When Rey asks where Adam is now, Chelsea will tell him to ask Sharon. Rey will bring Chelsea up to speed on Adam already leaving his last hiding spot. Chelsea will think Rey must understand her perspective since Sharon is his wife. She’ll argue that all Sharon and Adam want to do is be together.
At the cottage, Sharon will step in the kitchen to make popcorn as Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) answers the door. When Faith opens it to find Jordan (Madison Thompson), she’ll angrily ask what her former friend is doing there.
Faith will sarcastically ask if Jordan’s come to take pictures of her bruises so she can post them online for everyone to laugh at. Jordan will insist she came to apologize.
Jordan will tell Faith that she feels terrible about how Faith reacted to her prank and that she never would’ve forgiven herself if Faith had been killed.
Jordan will hope Faith can forgive her, but Faith will insist there’s no way to make this up to her. She’ll wonder how stupid Jordan thinks she is, but Jordan will promise that she’s truly learned her lesson.
Jordan will add that she was suspended from school and will miss the junior class trip as well as prom.
After Jordan admits her parents took away her car keys, she’ll note that some friends gave her a ride to the cottage. Faith will hope they’re still outside since she’s kicking Jordan out.
Jordan will insist she really is sorry, so Faith will suggest part of her wants to believe Jordan means that.
However, Jordan won’t think it matters since she doesn’t want to know Jordan anymore. “So you can take your faux apology and shove it,” Faith will snap as she slams the door in Jordan’s face.
Sharon will emerge to let Faith know she’s proud of her daughter for the way she handled that. A text will come in from Adam, who knew Sharon would tell Rey.
Sharon will reply back to find out where Adam is and what happened, but he’ll note that Sharon did what she had to do. Now Adam will intend to do the same.
Back at the ranch, Victor will urge Michael to look at Chelsea as a suspect for framing Adam. If Michael and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) don’t work to prove Adam’s innocence, Victor will vow to do it himself.
Michael will warn Victor not to interfere in the investigation, but Victor will suggest that won’t be a problem as long as the cops start looking at Chelsea.
In Ashland’s suite, he’ll tell Billy and Victoria that Cyaxares is back on the market. Victoria and Billy will be unsure of why Ashland called this meeting since they already made their pitches.
However, Ashland will suggest it’s time for opposing arguments. He’ll push Victoria to tell him why it’d be a mistake to put Billy in charge of her money.
When Victoria refuses to trash the competition, Billy will do the same. Since the offers are equally compelling, Ashland will determine that he’ll have to rely on luck. He’ll take a quarter out of his pocket and insist it was the first one he ever made delivering papers.
This quarter has never let Ashland down before, so he’ll trust it to decide the fate of Cyaxares. Heads it goes for Victoria and tails it goes to Billy at ChancComm.
After Billy flips the coin and says they have a winner, he’ll acknowledge Victoria’s win down in the lobby. Victoria won’t think it’s all bad since she doesn’t plan to use Cyaxares as a weapon like Victor did.
Once Billy gives Lily the coin toss news, she’ll be relieved that the battle is over. Billy will admit it hurts less losing to Victoria than Victor, so Lily will suggest that’s the perfect attitude to have.
After Lily steps out, she’ll roll her eyes and exhale dramatically. Billy will sit there looking pensive about his latest loss.
Victoria will make her way to the ranch, where she’ll gloat about her Cyaxares victory and Adam’s screw-up. Victor will note that Victoria is playing with the big boys now. He’ll insist that when someone crosses him in business, things can get dangerous.
After Victor tells Victoria to see herself out, she’ll look over at the used scotch glass on the bar and raise an eyebrow before rushing out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will cause trouble for Adam later this week, April 12-16, so stay tuned to Y&R!
