The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 27, tease that Karla Mosley will make her debut as a temporary Amanda Sinclair recast. Mosley will be filling in for Mishael Morgan, who had to take a little time off following emergency eye surgery.
Morgan is thankfully already back on set and will return on screen down the road, but we’ll see Mosley portray Amanda in the meantime. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will mull over a dilemma she’s facing and get Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) advice.
Y&R fans know Amanda seemingly had no problem with the idea of throwing her dead father, Richard Nealon, under the bus for her grandfather, Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).
During Amanda’s strategy session with Sutton, she suggested she’d craft the best defense possible – even if that meant portraying Richard as a greedy blackmailer.
However, Amanda will get honest during her upcoming conversation with Devon. Part of Amanda will feel guilty for trashing her bio dad when he’s not around to defend himself.
Devon will listen to the information Amanda has so far and rush to Richard’s defense. He just won’t think Amanda has enough info to assume that Richard was blackmailing someone at Newman Enterprises.
Amanda will decide the only thing to do is pay Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) a visit and see what he knows. Of course, that’s risky since Victor made it clear he wanted no part of Amanda’s investigation.
Devon will warn Amanda that she could be walking into trouble, but Amanda will feel like she has no choice if she wants to get to the truth.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some unsettling news is headed Amanda’s way, so maybe Victor will indeed have something to share.
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll have to play the role of the supportive Newman wife. Nikki will cover for her husband, so it sounds like she might face questions about the stunt Victor pulled with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Nikki is fully aware that Victor used Ashland’s heart attack to make him sign the Cyaxares contract, but she may lie for Victor’s sake if this becomes a legal issue. If Nikki has learned anything over the years with Victor, it’s that the loyalty comes first!
Finally, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will toy with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) through some games she decides to play. That could mean mind games if this involves slamming Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and trying to make Nick see things Phyllis’ way.
On the other hand, Phyllis and Nick are big gamers. It could be a simple case of treating Nick to a distraction and whipping out some videogames on their phones. Nevertheless, Phyllis usually has an agenda, so she may have an ulterior motive if she attempts to butter Nick up with some fun time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some great stuff’s in store, so don’t miss all the action on Tuesday’s episode. CDL will have all the scorching Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you need, so be sure to stop by frequently.
