The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 6 Update – Jack & Kyle Prepare Ashland War – Adam Needs Guilty Chelsea Proof

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 6, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will rope Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) into a plot, but he’ll have to drop a bomb on her first.

At the boat house, Adam will be glad Sharon showed up to help him. He’ll reiterate that he’s innocent and would never hurt Sharon by trying to kill her husband, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

However, Adam will think he knows someone else with a strong motive to frame him. He’ll point out Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes the most sense as the person behind those weird texts.

Adam will also think Chelsea recruited some help to steal and plant the trinkets. He’ll believe this was all part of the setup that included putting thallium in Rey’s personal hygiene products.

Naturally, this will seem like a major stretch to Sharon, who’s seen paralyzed Chelsea for herself. Adam will argue that Chelsea has seemingly recovered behind his back and is now deceiving everyone about it.

Although Sharon will acknowledge that’s possible, she may think it’s a huge leap to go from texts and trinkets to poisoning.

All of this will just seem so crazy and extreme to Sharon, but Adam will believe it has to be Chelsea out for payback. He’ll remind Sharon that they locked lips at Society, so he’ll believe Chelsea caught on sooner than he thought and planned this to take him down.

Once Adam gets Sharon to at least consider the possibility of Chelsea’s guilt, he’ll ask her to take the next step with him. Adam will want to do some scheming and back Chelsea into a corner.

Adam will think a trap is the only way to get off the hook and make sure the right person goes down for poisoning Rey.

Sharon will be hesitant to set a trap for Chelsea without hard evidence that she’s faking her recovery. Nevertheless, Adam may wonder what’s the worst that can happen. He’ll be desperate and convinced of Chelsea’s guilt, so he’ll want Sharon to pitch in for the sake of his freedom.

As for this trap Sharon’s supposed to set, what will it entail? Sharon might be tasked with planting a bug or even a hidden camera at the penthouse. Proof that Chelsea can move around and a recorded confession could go a long way toward clearing Adam’s name.

In the meantime, Chelsea will be ready to party! She’ll believe she’s going to live a blissful life away from Adam, so she’ll celebrate – perhaps with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) by her side.

Chelsea may break out the bubbly and gloat again, but she’d be wise to dial it down since her arrogance will be part of her downfall according to Y&R spoilers.

Speaking of downfalls, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will worry Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is going to ruin him. Kyle will have good reason to fear Ashland’s wrath against everything he holds near and dear.

Ashland will pressure Kyle to admit he slept with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), so Kyle may confess and try to do damage control. Kyle might explain that he was young and dumb back then, but now he’s grown and wants to be a man worthy of respect.

Of course, there’s no excuse that’ll prevent Ashland from unleashing his vengeful fury. Whether Kyle makes a full admission or not, Ashland will deliver a fierce threat and make it clear that revenge will be sweet.

Kyle will find Jack right after this meeting and promptly freak out over Ashland’s plans for vengeance.

Jack may scold Kyle for going against his wishes and trying to handle Ashland on his own, but the important thing will be planning for Ashland’s next move.

Jack will do his best to help Kyle prepare for war – and a war is indeed brewing since Ashland will target Kyle, Jack, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Jabot. We’ll fill you in as other Y&R news and updates emerge.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some exciting curveballs are looming as this battle gets underway, so keep watching. CDL will have other hot Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
