The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 3, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will stop Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) attack on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) selfie surprise will rock Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so let’s discuss what’s in store.
For starters, Adam will plot revenge on his arrogant sister. Victoria is feeling large and in charge these days, so she didn’t hesitate to taunt Adam during their recent confrontation.
However, Adam ultimately got an idea that he’ll follow up on in Tuesday’s Y&R episode. He’ll hope to show Victoria that he’s still a force to be reckoned with, but Victor’s about to get in his son’s way.
Victor felt betrayed when Victoria pulled off the merger behind his back, but he’s softened a bit lately.
Despite Victor’s concerns about Victoria getting her heart broken, he can see how much she cares about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
It sounds like Victor will think Victoria has enough suffering in her future. He’ll shut down a vengeful attack that Adam has in mind, so Adam may be frustrated.
After all, Victor was the one acting like Adam had lost his killer instinct not too long ago!
Even so, Victor may suggest there’s a time for ruthlessness and a time to have compassion. He’ll think Victoria could use some of the latter right now, so Adam should be willing to back off.
In the meantime, Phyllis will make herself comfortable at Angelina Marchetti’s (Cristina Serafina) meeting with Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Angelina will gush over Eric recommending Summer Newman (Hunter King), who’s doing a great job in her new role at the company.
Once Angelina walks off to take a call, Eric will confirm to Phyllis that Sally came to him looking for help.
Eric will reveal that Sally asked him to push Summer as the best candidate, so Phyllis will fume and break some bad news.
Eric will be disappointed when he finds out Sally’s still scheming – and that she used him as part of a plot to get rid of Summer.
After Angelina rejoins Eric and Phyllis, she’ll agree to take a picture at Phyllis’ request.
Phyllis will snap a selfie and send it to Sally, who’ll be unsettled in her latest meeting with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
It’ll be Phyllis’ way of letting Sally know the jig is almost up!
As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll worry that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) could bolt with the little boy he’s come to love so much.
Kyle adores Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), so he’ll fret over this mess leading to devastation.
Tara could try to keep Harrison away from Kyle, so that’ll weigh heavily on this doting daddy.
After Kyle opens up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will push his son to ask himself a crucial question.
Jack will wonder if Kyle will be able to forgive Tara if she indeed played a role in driving Summer out of his life.
The answer may be no, but Kyle might also feel like he needs to find a way to get along with Tara no matter what.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Harrison’s future is at stake, so Kyle will handle this as best as he can!
