The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 14, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back, so she’ll kick off her return stint and cause a Newman ranch security alert in the process.
Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will spend some time exploiting Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) defeat, but their strategy session will soon be interrupted. Any scheming will have to wait once some shocking news is passed along.
Y&R spoilers say Victor and Adam will be taken aback over updates from the ranch security team. They’ll want to get over there and see what Chelsea’s surprise comeback is all about.
Chelsea will seem perfectly calm and in control as she chats with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). However, Adam knows things aren’t always as they seem with Chelsea and will continue to worry about her fragile emotional state.
Chelsea will hope to find a path forward with Adam, so that’s at least part of why she’s coming home now.
Of course, Chelsea will also want to be a good mom to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but she’ll have some tricks up her sleeve when it comes to how to pull off a family reunion.
In the meantime, Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will work on the next phase of their plan.
Lily will want to be sure Billy’s truly got a grip on the situation. She won’t want Billy letting this vengeful plot drive him off the rails, but he’ll be feeling very in control.
While Billy’s off making his latest move, Lily will do some bonding with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Chloe is Billy’s former flame and knows how fixated he can be once he sets his mind to something. She may understand Lily’s struggles and commend her for offering the right kind of support.
Chloe knows she’s been no picnic at times for Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), but his unconditional love has always meant the world to her.
That could be something else that becomes part of the conversation since Lily’s doing her best to love Billy – even with his many flaws.
Finally, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will stun Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) by suggesting cohabitation. He’ll want Elena to move in with him and will really hope she says yes.
Elena may be conflicted since she’s fallen hard for Nate, but she also doesn’t like anybody thinking he’s doing special favors for her at work. The deeper their relationship goes, the more of an issue that could be.
Even so, moving in together is certainly a reasonable step at this point in Elena and Nate’s romance.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will work hard to get Elena on board, so stay tuned to see where they’ll go from here.
