The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, December 21 Recap – Billy’s Dive Bar Gambling Trap – Sally Chooses Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 21, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will set a dive bar gambling trap while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) defies Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wishes for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

At Society on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be stuck waiting for Adam or Sally to show up.

Billy will feel confident lady luck is going to smile upon them tonight, so he’ll want to stick around.

Next, Adam will drop off some comic books for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) at the penthouse, so that’ll lead to discussing Christmas plans with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

While Connor is upstairs, Adam will offer to come over on Christmas Eve and then come back to open presents in the morning.

Adam will suggest that he can head over to the ranch with Connor later in the day – though Chelsea will be welcome to come if she wants.

Chelsea will appreciate how considerate Adam’s being, so he’ll assure her that they’re always going to be a family.

Once Connor hears the latest news, he’ll be excited over spending Christmas with his parents. However, Connor will make an admission to Chelsea once Adam is gone.

Connor will confess that what he really wants for Christmas is for his mom and dad to work things out so they can be a real family.

Chelsea will contend that they’re already a real family and will give Connor a big hug.

Later, Chelsea will seem pensive as she thinks back on some romantic memories with Adam. She’ll also recall a more recent tense interaction before Connor appears.

Connor will admit he couldn’t sleep since it feels different being there now. He’ll suggest Adam could move in another room at the ranch so that Chelsea could take the tack house, but Chelsea will insist on staying put.

In time, Chelsea will hope it’s going to feel like home for both of them again.

At the ranch, Sally will show up after being summoned by Victor. Since Victor will want to cut to the chase, he’ll acknowledge that he knows Sally was the spy sending Billy videos.

Victor will ask about Sally’s motives, but she’ll argue that she only wants what’s best for Adam and Newman Media.

After Victor admits Sally has impressed him, he’ll warn her not to underestimate Billy.

Although Victor will appreciate the info Sally’s offered so far, he’ll note that it’s no longer necessary.

Sally will mention how she doesn’t want to let Adam down, so Victor will call her out on her other angle of impressing Adam.

Sally won’t deny her attraction to Adam, but she’ll assure Victor that she’s keeping things professional and wouldn’t jeopardize her career.

Victor will ultimately seem satisfied and decide he’s willing to give Sally another chance despite the drama she created for Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King).

At Crimson Lights, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will be too distracted with Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) album cover to really focus on what Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is saying.

When Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives, he’ll mention patching things up with Victor and will learn Noah accepted Adam’s offer for more work.

On the patio, Nick will talk to Sharon about Chelsea’s return as well as his gift exchange with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

After Nick suggests something seems to be going on between Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll admit it would bug him if they got back together.

That said, Nick will know he has no right to feel that way and will hope for Phyllis’ happiness.

Once Sharon invites Nick and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) to Christmas dinner, he’ll accept before they check out Noah’s cover art progress.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will eventually witness Sharon, Nick and Noah laughing over family memories, so he’ll brood a bit at the sight of the happy moment. In the meantime, Billy and Lily will put on a show for Adam at Society.

After Billy’s fake drunken outburst, he’ll fall to the floor and reject Lily’s offer to help him up.

Billy will loudly vow to go somewhere he can let off steam without feeling judged. After Lily blasts Adam over how sick he makes her, she’ll join Billy back at their place.

Billy will have some ice on his knee and a cut on his forehead after getting a little too into the performance. He’ll joke with Lily about getting a stuntman next time before he reveals he has to leave for his second act.

Back at Society, Sally will join Adam and learn she just missed Billy’s drunken display.

Adam will hint that if someone were following Billy around trying to get evidence of his trainwreck of a life, tonight would be a good night.

Sally will admit Victor just asked her to stop spying, but Adam will suggest that what Victor doesn’t know won’t hurt him.

Adam will get Sally on board with continuing her spy games and will think he knows where Billy is if history’s repeating itself.

At Billy’s old dive bar, he’ll meet up with some familiar gambling buddies. Billy will ask how his credit is there and will tell a man named Frankie that he has a favor to ask.

Once Sally dons a disguise and comes in with her cell phone, she’ll film Billy losing a hand and declaring that there’s plenty more where that came from.

After Billy calls it a night, he’ll step outside and peer back in through the window at Sally.

Billy will eventually return home to Lily and get frisky with her since they had to put that on hold before.

At the ranch again, Adam will stop by to offer updates on his Christmas plans with Connor and Chelsea.

Victor will bring Adam up to speed on a new business deal they need to work out before Adam gets a text from Sally.

Adam will reply that Sally’s the best after she sends a new video, but he’ll tell Victor there’s nothing to worry about and turn his attention back to business.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally could be playing with fire by going against Victor’s wishes, so stay tuned to Y&R!

CDL will have other great Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
