The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 21, teases that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) meltdown will fool Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) agenda is questioned. Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) wish will also be granted, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At Society on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, it’ll be showtime for Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Billy’s job will be to pretend he’s completely plastered in front of Adam.
Billy will slur his words as he vows vengeance and will fall flat on his face. Lily will play the part of a concerned girlfriend as Adam takes in the troubling scene.
Adam will be surprised over just how quickly Billy has gone off the rails, but he’ll think Billy only has himself to blame.
While Adam plans to capitalize on Billy’s issues, Billy and Lily should privately celebrate their next step toward success.
Even so, Lily won’t be able to shake her worries when it comes to Billy’s scheme and how it might go awry.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll corner Sally and suggest they should have a little chat about the spying she’s been doing.
Sally may wonder how Victor can be so sure she’s behind the anonymous footage, but Victor wasn’t born yesterday!
There’s a good chance Victor will indeed assume Sally’s responsible after gathering some intel from Adam.
As a result, Victor will want to know exactly what Sally’s game is. Sally may not come right out and admit to her snooping, but she’ll argue that the spy clearly has helpful motives.
Victor might think that depends on Sally’s definition of helpful!
Although Sally will act like the fashion platform is her priority, Victor may suspect she wants to impress Adam and perhaps win his heart.
Victor already warned Adam that his relationships with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) were toxic, but he may want to add Sally to the list.
Once Victor forces Sally to endure a grilling session, he may warn her to maintain professional boundaries when it comes to Adam.
At the penthouse, Chelsea will want to pick up her earlier discussion with Adam – the one about their love for each other and the possibility of recapturing it.
Naturally, Adam won’t want to rehash all that. He’s been trying to make Chelsea see that taking separate paths is for the best, but it’ll remain a struggle.
However, Adam and Chelsea can agree on one thing, which is that Connor’s a great kid who deserves a fun Christmas.
Chelsea and Adam will put any lingering issues on hold, so that’ll bring peace to the penthouse and grant Connor’s wish for a happy holiday with both his parents.
