The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 23, teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be mumbling GCPD-related nonsense in his sleep while in the ICU.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will assure Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that Rey’s getting additional testing and will be given something to relax.
In the meantime on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Nate will push Sharon to come get a cup of coffee with him and try to relax herself. At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will ponder the texts on his phone and consider texting Sharon that he never sent them.
However, Adam will erase what he wrote and will notice Sharon enter with Nate moments later. Once Adam locks eyes with Sharon briefly, Adam will leave without saying anything to her.
At the penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be pleased to know Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) did what she asked. However, Chloe will admit she’s not used to doing shady things anymore.
Chelsea will wonder if she’s asking too much from Chloe, but Chloe will insist helping Chelsea get away from Adam is a dream come true.
At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will see another text from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll still be waiting to speak with him. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will pop in with coffee for Jack after he ignores Phyllis once again.
In the meantime, Phyllis will corner Summer Newman (Hunter King) at The Grand Phoenix and will insist that she needs more dirt on Sally. Summer will remind Phyllis of the truce and how it could come back to bite them if they start poking Sally the bear.
Phyllis will get the feeling that Summer’s holding back – that this is about more than just Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) affair.
Summer will admit that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is the husband of the woman Kyle cheated with. Phyllis will acknowledge that Ashland is dangerous, so Summer will argue that Phyllis can’t use what they learned about Sally in California. It could spell disaster if Sally blows up the cheating scandal.
At Jabot again, Kyle will get a call from Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), who’ll admit they might have a problem. Tara will talk about how Ashland was unusually quiet on the plane ride home.
Ashland is only quiet when something’s troubling him – and Tara will suspect it could have something to do with her former relationship with Kyle.
Kyle will reassure Tara that everything is fine, but he’ll seem concerned as he hangs up. After Jack walks in, he’ll sense that Kyle’s still got a lot on his mind. Jack will push Kyle to come clean, but Kyle will lash out before Sally arrives.
Sally will alert Jack to some crisis that Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) dealing with, so he’ll take off.
Sally will push for answers about Kyle’s outburst with Jack, but he won’t be interested in giving any. After Sally wonders what it would take for Kyle to trust her, he’ll argue that it’d take a miracle.
Sally will suggest that Kyle should figure out a way to get on board with her presence since she likes it in Genoa City – and she really likes Jack.
Back at the hospital, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will visit unconscious Rey and mention that she called Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue). Lola will push her big brother to please get better.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will come in following the start of her shift, so Lola will wonder what’s taking so long to figure out what’s wrong with Rey. Elena will insist that Nate’s going to solve this.
Lola will bring up the burning pains in Rey’s legs and feet – and Sharon will bring those pains up to Nate at the coffeehouse, too. Later, Elena and Nate will come together after reaching the same conclusion that Rey was poisoned by thallium.
Nate will be grateful to Elena for sharing her experience with a similar case back when she was a resident, so it’ll lead to glimmer of a spark between them.
At the penthouse again, Chloe will assure Chelsea that she can count on her. Chelsea will promise that she’s planned this thing down to the smallest detail – and that Adam is the only person who’s going to face any consequences.
Once Adam is removed from the equation, Chelsea will plan to reveal her recovery and start a new life with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
When Adam enters, Chelsea will stiffen up and pretend she can’t move. After Chloe exits, Adam will admit something’s going on that he can’t figure out. He’ll fill Chelsea in on the texts being sent from his phone to Sharon.
Adam will note that the texts make it seem like he’s trying to Sharon back, but he’ll argue that nothing could be further from the truth.
After Adam seeks reassurance that Chelsea believes him, Chelsea will blink that she does. Adam will acknowledge that someone’s messing with him, so he’ll ponder who it might be.
Adam will feel like maybe he got hacked – that’ll be the only explanation that makes sense to him. He just won’t be able to figure out who or why.
Adam will find it strange that a hacker could do this without leaving a trail. Suddenly, Adam will look at his tablet – and then at Chelsea with a confused expression.
Adam will point out that the messages were synced up on his tablet and will wonder if Chloe’s been anywhere near it. Chelsea will blink no, so Adam will guess that Chloe would’ve have done it right in front of Chelsea anyway.
Even so, Adam will feel like it had to be someone who had access to his devices and knew about his issues with Sharon. Adam will know it’s going to seem crazy, but he’ll ask if Chelsea knows what this is about – if she has any idea who could’ve done this.
Chelsea will look distressed as Adam acknowledges that the aneurysm and stroke were his fault. Adam will point out that Chelsea’s recovery has been awfully slow, even with the best specialists helping her.
If there’s something Chelsea needs to tell Adam, he’ll feel like they can get through it together.
Adam will ask if it’s possible that Chelsea is the one who sent the texts, but she’ll blink no and get an apology in response. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about,” Adam will say before leaving the room.
At Jabot again, Sally won’t see what’s so wrong about having fun with Jack. Kyle won’t believe that’s all there is to it.
Talk will turn to Tara and how Kyle would still be with her if it wasn’t for that ring on her finger – at least according to Sally. She’ll insist that Kyle must’ve thought about that late at night when he’s with Summer.
Sally will contend that if things had been different and Tara had found a way to leave her husband, Kyle and Tara would be together right now. “Kyle, Tara and baby makes three,” Sally will add before Kyle snaps that’s enough.
Kyle will snarl that for the last time, that boy isn’t his son. Sally will wonder if Kyle’s sure about that – “like scientifically.” She’ll contend that denial doesn’t make the problem go away.
Sally will assume that Kyle’s love for Summer makes this even worse. She’ll advise Kyle to get a grip on his own chaos since it seems like he’s got his hands full.
Later, Sharon will get updates on Nate’s thallium poisoning diagnosis. She’ll worry that she might’ve been exposed along with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Nate will talk about the antidote being sent from Chicago and will plan to get it in Rey’s system soon.
Sharon will be grateful to Nate and Elena for nailing down some answers, though she’ll be eager to get more. Once Nate’s got the antidote, he’ll get ready to administer it to Rey – and Sharon will push Rey to fight.
“Don’t you dare leave me, OK?” Sharon will insist in Tuesday’s Young and the Restless episode.
Back with Jack, he’ll catch up with Phyllis in The Grand Phoenix lobby. Phyllis will be contemplating doing a search on Ashland Locke when Jack startles her. Jack will note that Phyllis keeps texting him wanting to talk, so he’ll want to know what this is about.
Phyllis will argue that the issue “magically disappeared,” so Jack will be perplexed about this cryptic problem that resolved itself. Soon after, Sally will arrive and drag Jack away from Phyllis.
At Jabot again, Kyle will give Summer the news about his phone call from a worried Tara. Another call will come in from a New York number – and when Kyle answers, he’ll be asked to please hold for Ashland Locke.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Ashland are gearing up for quite a battle, so stay tuned to Y&R. CDL will have tons of other sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to stop by regularly.
