The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 23, reveals that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) reverse psychology on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be called out while Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) becomes a convicted felon. Let’s talk about what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) place, they’ll bicker about his offer to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Lily will think Billy would just make things worse by stepping down and will scold him for never thinking about consequences.
Lily will want to weigh their options as a team with lawyers, but will wonder if Billy’s even capable of doing that.
In Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) office, she’ll grow concerned when Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has a little trouble breathing and seems weak. However, Ashland will downplay it and argue that his new treatment must be working.
As for the ChancComm drama, Victoria will feel like Ashland has been taking all the risks and has all the leverage.
Victoria will wonder why Adam should be the one who benefits most as Newman Media.
Victoria will point out that a big chunk of ChancComm consists of a division she sold to them.
Victoria will suggest Victor would be a little disappointed if she didn’t try to get it back, so Ashland will reply that he loves the way her mind works.
At the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will thank Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) for dropping by to check on Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
Elena will assure Devon that Dominic just has a heat rash, which can be cleared up with some ointment.
Elena will like seeing Devon in such a good place, especially considering everything he went through when he lost Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and their unborn child.
Devon will agree that he’s in a good place and will be grateful to Elena for her help during a dark time of his life.
Later, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will reveal that the jury has reached a verdict in Sutton’s trial. Devon will feel confident that Amanda’s going to hold her grandfather accountable no matter what.
After the guilty verdict is read, Amanda will end up at Society with Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). They’ll talk about how Sutton is a convicted felon now and how that’s hard for Imani to process.
Imani will feel certain that once she gets over the shock, she’ll be just as happy as Amanda.
When Imani says Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) might be moving to Genoa City, Amanda will be thrilled.
Imani will suggest Naya’s going to hound about grandkids, so Amanda will admit there’s a baby at home if Naya needs her fix. That’ll confuse Imani, so Amanda will point out they have a lot to catch up on!
At Crimson Lights, Elena will bump into Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and mention that she just came from Devon’s place.
Mariah will immediately fret over Dominic, but Elena will insist there’s no cause for alarm. She’ll explain it was just a heat rash and will think Devon was just being a bit overprotective.
After Elena says she sees that all the time in first-time parents, she’ll catch herself and assure Mariah that it was a figure of speech.
Mariah will seem upset, but she’ll try to hide it as best as she can.
Mariah will note that Devon is the biological father and will feel sure Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) would be happy to have him fill the dad role with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gone.
When Elena asks how Mariah is doing, Mariah will give an overenthusiastic response about how she’s finally feeling like her old self – though Elena won’t seem to buy it.
Back at the penthouse, Devon will feed Dominic and play a game of peek a boo with him. He’ll also soothe Dominic once he starts to cry and will look over the moon about having him there.
When Amanda returns from dinner with Imani, she’ll smile over Devon sleeping on the sofa with Dominic in his arms.
At Society again, Sally will go over the fashion platform’s new video project with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
After Sally insists she’s taking Chloe’s advice and backing off Adam, Chloe will argue that she knows what Sally’s doing.
Chloe will be convinced this is a reverse psychology strategy and will call Sally out for trying to make Adam chase her.
Chloe warn Sally that it’s not going to work, but Sally will stand by her claims that she’s legitimately just trying to focus on her career.
Next, Ashland and Victoria will show up with an offer for Billy and Lily.
Billy will wonder if Ashland is really willing to turn on the Newmans, but Victoria will argue that Ashland is trying to say he’s the one who can cancel the lawsuit.
Ashland and Victoria will explain that they have no interest in the games Adam and Victor want to play.
They’ll have a lucrative proposal for Billy, Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to consider instead – one where ChancComm is folded into Newman-Locke and Lily is kept on as CEO with full autonomy.
Billy will ask if Victoria’s really going along with exploiting the damage and kicking him out of the company, so Ashland will note that it was Victoria’s idea.
Victoria will contend that their offer is better than watching ChancComm get run into the ground and snatched up by Adam.
Lily will complain that Victoria is trying to protect Billy even now!
However, Victoria won’t want Adam to best either of them and will feel like this solution is ideal for the kids. She’ll leave with Ashland so that Billy and Lily can mull over their limited choices.
Afterward, Lily will fear this is some sort of trick, but Billy won’t think so. This decision is up to Jill anyway, but Lily will mostly be concerned about Billy making unilateral decisions.
Billy will admit he couldn’t handle things changing between them and will hope they’re OK. Lily will act like they’re good as she gives Billy a quick peck, but they’ll both seem uneasy.
While Billy looks pensive at Society’s bar, Lily will call Jill and leave a voicemail about the ChancComm situation.
Back in Victoria’s office, she’ll contemplate sending the kids to boarding school until the end of the school year.
Victoria will feel confident Billy is going to go off the rails and won’t want the kids around to witness it.
Ashland will agree that might work out if his condition deteriorates, too.
Victoria will wonder if Victoria can get Billy on board with this decision, but she’ll suggest Ashland should just leave Billy to her.
