The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, November 9, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make a vengeful move while Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) anger explodes. Lonely Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also get snubbed, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Victor will refuse to back down from a fight. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may mention Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concerns about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) health and her desire to put this business battle to rest.
Of course, Victor will think everything’s under control and won’t feel like there’s any real stress to Ashland involved here. Furthermore, Victor won’t feel like Nikki has a right to poke her nose into Newman Media business.
Victor will stand his ground and assure Adam that the plan to take Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) down is still on.
Victor should also get updates on Billy taking the bait by stashing Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) away. Billy’s blackmail won’t scare Victor since it’s all part of the plan, but there are plenty of ways this could go wrong on both sides.
For better or for worse, Victor will prepare to make a vengeful move that’s sure to blindside Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in the week ahead.
In the meantime, Devon will blow his top over Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) insistence on flying to Spain and carrying out her own Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) investigation.
This is way too risky, especially considering Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor already lost one parent.
Devon may angrily ask Abby if she really wants Dominic to lose another! He might also lash out at Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) since she’ll be trying to use this as an opportunity to pounce on Dominic.
Devon will feel like everybody involved here is making selfish decisions. He’ll probably act like he’s the only one acting in Dominic’s best interest, so he’ll have a bit of a meltdown and push everyone to get their act together.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll struggle with her heartbreak and expect Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to give her support as usual.
Phyllis will no doubt feel rather snubbed when Jack puts some distance between them instead.
Between Phyllis’ split from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack’s rejection, she should be feeling low and lonely on Tuesday’s show.
However, Jack can never resist interacting with Phyllis for too long. He’ll think he’s doing the right thing by backing off, but he should gain another perspective down the road.
