The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 19, teases that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will slam Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) makes a bold Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) move. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also share a revelation with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so these former flames will share close moments as usual.
Now that Nick has confronted Adam and Victor, Y&R spoilers say he’ll be ready to unleash major criticism. Nick will gripe about the family rallying around a criminal like Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) – and he won’t approve of Victor suddenly treating Adam like his right-hand man.
However, Victor won’t see why he shouldn’t rely on Adam, who’s been insisting that family steps up when it counts. Nick may be irritated if Victor pushes him to show the same level of loyalty.
Nick won’t think it’s fair that he’s being treated like an outsider, but he’s on the outside because he’s going against what everybody else wants.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has made her decision when it comes to Ashland and their future together. Ashland probably won’t even be alive much longer, so it’s kind of ridiculous that Nick acts like Victoria’s ruining her life.
Nick really needs to worry about his own relationship since he’s on the verge of destroying it. He keeps biting Phyllis’ head off no matter what she says or does.
Phyllis will get a break from the constant conflict when she chats with Jack on Tuesday. Jack will serve as a source of comfort and will listen if Phyllis needs to unload her frustration.
It turns out Jack will also have something to share. Jack will use Phyllis as his confidant, so she may be surprised by an admission or two.
Since Jack will be rather cruel to Sally in Monday’s show, he may open up about her during Tuesday’s conversation with Phyllis.
Sally made plenty of mistakes in her relationship with Jack, but part of him may be a hint jealous about her showing up as Adam’s date. Jack was truly quite enamored with Sally at one point – though that was partly because she reminded him of feisty Phyllis.
Speaking of Sally, she’ll get tired of waiting around for Adam at the reception and will knock on his door. Adam will hide out in his room after all the family mayhem, but his solitude won’t last long.
Sally will come strutting in and help herself to a drink before things take a steamy turn. Although Sally still has some work to do if she wants to win everyone else over, she’ll hope she’s making progress with Adam.
Sally will plant a smooch that Adam will happily reciprocate, so we’ll see if things escalate beyond this lip lock.
