The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 14, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be rattled over Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) secret while Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor has some christening drama.
First, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will alert Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to Ashland trouble and may fill her in on his latest discoveries.
Billy will feel like Ashland himself must be the reason for his missing birth certificate and his parents’ missing death certificates.
Billy will remain fixated on the idea that Ashland had everything scrubbed, so he’ll feel like there must be a terrible explanation.
Nikki may battle concerns over Billy’s info, but she won’t think it’s his place to go around hurling accusations.
Billy will face Nikki’s lecture along with some words of caution.
It sounds like Nikki will want Billy to butt out and let the Newmans handle any issues – though Nikki will hold out hope that this is all a misunderstanding for Victoria’s sake.
At home on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, September 14, Victoria will brace for Ashland’s big admission. She won’t like the fact that Ashland’s keeping things from her after promising there was nothing left to tell.
However, Ashland will act like there was no need to spill until now.
This is something Ashland was hoping to keep buried, but he’ll feel like he has to come clean at this point.
Billy’s closing in and Ashland is receiving threatening texts, so Ashland will confess a story related to Camilla Rhodes. She was a much older woman who served as a mentor to Ashland and apparently helped him take on a new identity.
Once Ashland explains all the details, Victoria’s faith in him will be shaken somewhat.
Ashland’s secret may not be all that horrible, but he still lied to Victoria. She’ll begin to wonder if she can truly trust Ashland – and the answer is no, she can’t!
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will go into protective mode along with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as details start coming out.
Ashland will need to have a talk with the Newman men soon and explain why he’s been keeping his past under wraps, but Nick and Victor will remain wary.
Next, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will hope to lift Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) spirits.
Abby will give Mariah the godmother title – and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will become Dominic’s godfather as well.
Abby will want Devon and Mariah right by her side at the upcoming christening ceremony, so she’ll hope this cements their roles in the boy’s life.
Mariah will know she should be honored, but her heart will break anyway.
Mariah feels a deep connection with Dominic like a mom would have, so this whole godmother thing will feel like a slap in the face. Mariah will no doubt thank Abby and act like everything’s fine, but she’ll definitely be having a hard time.
