The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Monday, July 26 – Tara Whines To Kyle – Sharon Helps Harrison With Ashland Dying

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 26, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will need Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) help with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) while Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) falls for Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) fake-out at the office.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon will seem on edge as she struggles to refill the saltshakers. Once Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) walk in, they’ll talk to Sharon about the New Hope charity concert that’s happening soon.

Sharon will surprise Faith by suggesting maybe Adam will be home from his Minnesota trip by then.

When Faith corrects her mother, Sharon will act like she said Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). She’ll at least insist that’s what she meant!

Since Sharon will need to take off for a bit, she’ll leave Faith to hold down the fort.

Faith will worry about what’ll happen if someone has a complicated coffee order, but Sharon will insist it’ll be fine and will take off after a vague “errands” explanation.

In Adam’s office, he’ll be glad to hear Anita Lawson’s (Catherine Bach) recovery is going well – though Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will admit her mom’s progress is going to be slow.

As Adam speaks with Chelsea via video chat, he’ll catch her off guard with a demand.

Adam won’t want to throw off Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) schedule too much since lacrosse camp is coming up. He’ll think Connor’s been on the trip long enough and should just come back with Rey in a couple days.

Chelsea will push for more time with her son, but Adam won’t budge. He’ll promise Chelsea can have all the time she wants once Anita is better and Chelsea’s back in GC with Connor.

Since this isn’t an argument Chelsea’s going to win, she’ll accept that and agree to send Connor home.

Afterward, Adam will greet Chloe on her first day at Newman Media. Chloe will get updates on Connor’s speedy homecoming and won’t act like it’s fair. However, Adam won’t be looking for Chloe’s opinion on that.

Adam will want to discuss the online fashion platform and the free reign he’s giving Chloe since fashion isn’t his area of expertise.

Chloe will seek reassurance that Chelsea indeed has a spot waiting when the time comes. She’ll worry this is one big gotcha and won’t trust Adam at all. Adam will pretend Chloe’s right and will act like this was a giant setup to fool her.

That’ll lead Chloe to verbally attack Adam, but she’ll soon learn everything’s legit – including the key to her new office that’s waiting on his desk.

Adam will get that Chloe may never fully trust him, but he’ll express hope that she might come around. He’ll think if Chloe can, then anyone can!

Chloe won’t seem hopeful about that, but she’ll at least be satisfied that the job is legitimate.

At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, she’ll once again push Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to seek treatment and will once again get shut down.

Ashland won’t regret the merger and will value his time with Victoria, but he also won’t want to suffer side effects without any real payoff.

In The Grand Phoenix lobby, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will bump into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Since Billy’s meeting will be canceled, he’ll use this opportunity to strategize with Phyllis.

They’ll discuss Phyllis’ certainty that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) drove Summer Newman (Hunter King) to Italy.

Billy will find out about Summer handing her job to Sally on a silver platter. Phyllis will think it’s strange since Summer hates Sally, but she won’t know if Sally forced Summer somehow. What Phyllis will know is that Sally and Tara must go down!

When Phyllis expresses her desire to bring Summer home, Billy will worry maybe Summer will want to stay. He’ll also act like Summer and Kyle’s romance was probably going to implode anyway, but Phyllis will shut down all Billy’s negativity.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will drop by Crimson Lights, where he’ll offer advice to Moses about his career path.

The doc will want Moses to be sure he knows what he’s giving up if he ditches medicine. That said, Nate will agree when Faith argues Moses’ happiness is what’s most important.

On Monday’s Y&R episode, Nate will also catch up with Victoria at Society. He won’t be optimistic when she asks about small-cell lung carcinoma treatments and will mention that Billy approached him about the same patient.

Since Victoria will be desperate for options, Nate will vow to ask his colleagues with that area of expertise.

While Billy listens in on Victoria’s conversation with Nate, Sharon will pay a visit to the Abbott mansion at Kyle’s request.

Sharon will offer tips on how to help Harrison cope with Ashland’s illness. She’ll feel like this is something Ashland and Tara need to handle as a team – and she’ll put emphasis on honesty.

After Sharon’s gone, Tara won’t think teaming up with Ashland is going to work. She’ll gripe to Kyle about Ashland’s resentment and Phyllis’ accusations about her ulterior motives.

Tara will fret over Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) potentially judging her next, but Kyle will insist that’s not going to happen.

Kyle will let Tara know he can take care of her Phyllis problem. In the meantime, Tara will agree to try and work out a compromise with Ashland. Kyle will offer to present a united front, but he’ll back off when Tara wants to tackle this alone.

Unfortunately, Ashland will be belligerent at the meeting and will lash out over Tara’s recent sole custody push. We’ll also see Kyle march up to Phyllis with what he’ll call a simple request. “Tell me what the hell you’re doing to Tara,” Kyle will declare.

Sharon will leave Rey a voicemail in the park and encourage him to get in touch with her. After Sharon disconnects, she’ll jump at the sight of Adam.

Sharon will wonder if Adam’s following her now, but she’ll ultimately suggest she’s just unsettled because of their last discussion.

Sharon won’t appreciate the way Adam was trying to drag their past into things. She’ll add that she’s not drawn to good Adam or bad Adam since she only feels drawn to her husband.

Sharon will warn Adam not to bring their history into the conversation again before she dashes off.

Once Sharon makes it back to the coffeehouse, she’ll reassure a concerned Faith about her strange behavior. Sharon will just feel like she needs Rey back home as soon as possible.

Sharon will take a moment for herself in the storeroom as she clearly wrestles with her complicated Adam feelings.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Sharon’s connection will continue to create problems, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so drop by often.
