The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, March 23, teases that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have to work as a team. The Monday, March 22 episode will be preempted for NCAA March Madness basketball coverage, but Tuesday’s action-packed show will be worth the wait!
Y&R fans know Nate recently decided he was done waiting around for Elena to choose him. He made things easier by taking himself off the table as an option, so that should still sting a bit as Elena moves forward.
However, Elena knows patients have to come first – and Nate understands that, too. Nate and Elena won’t give much thought to their recent split since they’ll be so focused on saving Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) life.
Rey’s blood test will reveal that thallium poisoning is why he’s been struggling with such horrible symptoms, so Sharon will reel once she gets updates.
Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will eventually be summoned to the hospital, so she’ll be able to visit her brother and encourage him to fight. Sharon will want Rey to prove he’s a fighter as well, but there’ll be some scary scenes as his loved ones fear the worst.
Rey will thankfully wake up in the coming Y&R episodes, so look for him to hold Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) responsible for the poisoning after evidence surfaces. The thallium in Rey’s personal hygiene products will leave Rey feeling like Adam was the only one rotten enough to carry out this plot.
In the meantime, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be grilled separately. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will want to know what Summer’s holding back on – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will think Kyle’s keeping secrets, too.
Jack and Phyllis might pry some answers about Harrison Locke out if they try hard enough. Kyle had an affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) in New York, so the details and consequences have to come to light sooner or later.
Since we know Kyle will get a warning about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) on Tuesday, Jack might warn Kyle that secrets have a way of blowing up and destroying lives! Of course, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) always seems to be lurking around, so there’s a chance she’ll be behind this warning instead.
Sally obviously enjoys taunting Kyle despite his denial that Harrison is his own son. Kyle’s Ashland concerns will grow stronger no matter who’s trying to warn him, so stay tuned for some bad news and Y&R curveballs!
