The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of June 28-July 2 reveals that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is secretly still in love with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), but he’ll try not to let it show! Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) move will also enrage Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so let’s discuss what’s in store.
For starters, Abby will get a shock when Stitch shows up at the Chancellor mansion door. Although Abby knew Stitch was back in town for his old boss’ retirement party, she thought their brief chat at Crimson Lights would be the extent of their time catching up.
Stitch will have other plans since he’ll hand over a big box containing a present for the baby. This will bring a chance at a deeper conversation and a special moment for the exes.
Y&R spoilers say Stitch is single and never found anyone who measured up to Abby after their split.
Stitch is secretly still in love with his ex, but he’ll keep things friendly since Abby is married to Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz). Since Stitch won’t think the feeling is mutual, he’ll just pine in silence and accept this visit as pals – at least for now.
Of course, anything could happen as this storyline moves forward. If Chance stays out of the picture too long, there’s certainly the potential for Abby and Stitch to rekindle things.
Whatever the case, Stitch is back for a story arc that could bring some interesting curveballs.
In the meantime, Victoria will be committed to accomplishing all her merger goals with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Victor will no doubt battle some concerns when he finds out a couple of bombshells – namely that Ashland is deathly ill and Victoria is doing business with him.
Victoria won’t think she needs Victor’s approval, but he’ll cause a fuss and create some Newman family drama in the process.
Later, Ashland will get some big news from Victoria, but will it be good or bad? No matter what the next six months hold, Ashland will continue to trust Victoria and make her an important part of what’s left of his life.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will happily embrace her role as JCV’s acting president – and it’ll come at Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) urging.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will mope after Summer leaves for Italy, but Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will try to lift his spirits through Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) and some old romantic memories.
Elsewhere, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will worry about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and open up to Victor.
Amanda will do everything in her power to prove Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) is guilty of murder rather than Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), but that could land her in trouble and perhaps bring yet another startling revelation.
