The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of May 17-21 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a murder clue for Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley) while Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) news rocks Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also be given a brother mission, so some exciting developments are ahead.
For starters, let’s talk about an issue that’ll catch Billy off guard. Y&R fans know Lily was all for it when Billy suggested getting a place together. That’s why it’ll surprise Billy when Lily suddenly doesn’t seem all that enthusiastic.
Lily will act like she just didn’t know Billy would want to move in together so soon. Billy, on the other hand, won’t see why they should delay the plan they already agreed on. It’ll bring some tension for Lily and Billy to work through as they try to figure out all the details.
As for Victor, he’ll be taken aback over Nick’s view of his brother. Nick may never fully trust Adam, but he does see the potential for Adam to change.
Now that Nick’s more open to the possibility of Adam becoming a better person, that should please Victor and lead to his next move. Victor will think Nick should embrace a fresh start with Adam, so he’ll nudge these siblings to make peace and put the past behind them.
Although Victor can’t expect Adam and Nick to be besties, there’s certainly room for improvement! As for Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), their feud will be worse than ever as Sally needles her rival about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) cheating.
After Summer slaps Sally, she’ll provoke her wrath and lead to some retaliation from Sally soon enough.
In the meantime, Kyle will feel like he has to make a public announcement and reveal that Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) is the product of the affair he had with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Summer may wish there was another way, but Kyle may not see another strategy to protect Harrison and keep him out of Ashland’s controlling hands. Ashland could take custody away from Tara over her affair confession if Kyle doesn’t make a move here.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will get an unexpected gift. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will pull off a surprise that Mariah should be filled with gratitude for.
Next, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will reel over Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) confession about being Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) ally.
Chloe will assure Kevin that she simply wanted to help Chelsea get away from Adam. She had no clue that Chelsea would put Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilauso) life at stake.
Rey will quiz Chloe as he works to put Chelsea behind bars instead of letting her have this cushy mental facility stay, but Chloe may not be willing to cooperate. As for Amanda, she’ll get tough with Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) before Victor reveals the key to a major Y&R secret.
That should tie in with Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case, so Victor might be able to shed some light on who Richard Nealon’s real murderer is. Victor could at least have a crucial clue to put Chelsea on the right track.
Finally, Victor will get ready to help Adam keep his promise to crush ChancComm and Billy. A fierce battle’s brewing that’ll shake things up in Genoa City, so stay tuned!
