The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of May 31-June 4 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a birthday extravaganza planned for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) – and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will need Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) advice.
In the park, Nikki will be delighted when she opens a present, which will contain a book and a special note. Victor will have a birthday surprise cooked up, so he’ll leave a clue or two for Nikki to find.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will have a grand gesture waiting on her, so it’ll be interesting to see what tricks Victor has up his sleeve.
Meanwhile, Summer will go to Sharon for some guidance. Y&R fans know Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have been able to co-parent Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) successfully.
Nick and Sharon also happen to be good friends with no sign of romantic inklings at all – at least not anymore.
That may be exactly the relationship Summer’s hoping Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) can have with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Perhaps Summer will have some questions about how Sharon and Nick pull it off.
Whatever the case, Summer will need some help – and Sharon will do her best to offer solid advice.
Across town, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will brace for battle following the paternity results shocker. Jack will expect Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to retaliate after Kyle insists Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) is his son and backs it up with proof.
Ashland will indeed have revenge on his mind soon, but he’ll be stuck on the paternity drama for a while. Since Ashland won’t want to believe it’s true, he’ll take steps to prove otherwise.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will offer a shoulder to cry on – and Nikki will pick up on what she views as some chemistry between them.
Nikki may advise Victoria to proceed with caution when it comes to a guy like Ashland, but he genuinely seems to like Victoria – and they seem pretty compatible, too.
Of course, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) won’t be pleased as Victoria and Ashland grow closer, but he’ll have other issues on his mind since Victor’s about to launch an attack.
Victor wants to crush Billy at ChancComm, so he’ll have a sneaky maneuver that could help accomplish that.
Nick will deal with concerns about Adam and wonder if maybe this truce is such a good idea, but it looks like Adam will ultimately convince his brother he can somewhat be trusted.
Finally, Ashland will change his mind about something. It’s possible Ashland will eventually accept that the paternity results are legit, but he may keep fighting for Harrison anyway.
Regardless, Ashland will definitely carry out a vengeful plot against Kyle and his loved ones in the coming episodes.
