The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that there may be a good reason why Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) bond with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been growing stronger again. Adam’s going to need someone in his corner soon – and Victor may be the only person willing to stand by his son.
Y&R fans know Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is plotting against Adam and wants to make sure there’s no chance he’ll come after her once she makes a clean break.
It seems like Chelsea’s working hard to ensure a prison stint for Adam, but Victor won’t let his boy get locked away without a fight!
Not too long ago, Victor admitted to Adam that he didn’t trust Chelsea. The Young and the Restless writers were likely setting up Victor’s suspicions in this upcoming storyline.
Since Adam is probably going to be accused of poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) thanks to Chelsea’s setup, Adam may beg Victor to believe it’s not true.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will accuse Adam during the week of March 22-26 – and it’s safe to say the rest of Adam’s family will be firmly against him as well.
There’s no way Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will believe Adam’s innocent. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and even Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) should believe Adam’s up to no good again, too.
Adam has repeatedly pointed out how Victor was the only one to really support him during Chelsea’s crisis, but a crisis of his own is brewing. Will Adam rely on Victor to work his magic and help prove his innocence after Chelsea frames him?
The situation could be pretty dire if Adam actually gets arrested. Adam will initially point the finger at Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), but she isn’t really to blame since she doesn’t know the extent of Chelsea’s plan. Chelsea’s the one who’s running the show here anyway.
It may be Victor who puts his minions to work and finds proof that Adam was set up by scheming Chelsea, who’s secretly been making major recovery progress without Adam’s knowledge.
Victor may take Chelsea down for trying to throw Adam behind bars when he’s innocent this time.
