The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will turn to a familiar source of comfort during the week of January 11-15. There’s no one who can console Adam quite like Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) can, so Adam will offer updates on Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) ordeal and how he’s coping.
Sharon will offer a sympathetic ear as Adam describes his heartbreak over the situation. Adam will confide his guilt and the fear that Chelsea won’t recover as well as he hopes. There’ll be concerns about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as Adam continues trying to shield his son from what’s going on.
Sharon previously decided it wasn’t the best idea to be Adam’s therapist anymore, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be able to abandon him now. It sounds like this will be an unofficial therapy session in a way.
Of course, we should remember that Sharon is a married woman. Rey is Sharon’s devoted husband – and they expect to stay loyal to each other. Although Rey will quickly grow concerned about Sharon and Adam’s lingering connection, Rey will try to trust Sharon and deal with it.
It’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who’ll have a problem with Sharon and Adam’s upcoming bonding. Y&R fans know Victor has reached out to Sharon on several occasions in the past. Victor often felt like Sharon was the only person who could help Adam, but he may not feel that way anymore.
Due to Chelsea’s crisis, Victor may think Adam should focus on his fiancée’s recovery fight – not an ex who just married another man. Victor may be fully on “Team Chadam” and argue that “Shadam” has become ancient history.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will corner Sharon to blast her and ask questions about her relationship with Adam. Perhaps Victor will warn about respecting boundaries, especially since Adam will be feeling so vulnerable.
If Sharon says something to Adam that makes him distrust Victor or plants doubts in his head about bonding with his father again, that could be another way to rile Victor up. Part of Sharon may worry that getting too close to the Newman clan will cause trouble for Adam.
The point is Victor will be firmly on Chelsea’s side of the love triangle – and he’ll be on guard when it comes to Sharon’s plans for Adam. Victor may feel like Sharon and Adam are getting too close for comfort again, so he might step up and offer a stern warning.
