The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has a dream coming up that’ll force him to reevaluate his life and his choices. Adam’s already been doing some of that, but this standalone episode will offer a chance to go deeper and will help Adam as he seeks a fresh start.
Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be the focus of this chess-themed Young and the Restless special, but there’ll be other key players involved, too.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make an appearance in this dream to show off her cutthroat strategies and most likely doubt Adam’s ability to turn his life around.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam’s getting a reset, so Y&R will try to keep him on the right path for a while. There’s no guarantee Adam will be able to avoid his worst impulses indefinitely, but we’re going to see a shift toward a new-and-improved Adam in the weeks ahead.
Of course, Adam has been a major source of drama for the Newman family. There’ll be a serious void without Adam to stir up trouble and cause problems. Who will fill that void once Adam turns his life around and concentrates on this new path?
Y&R Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer Josh Griffith offered some hints about that in an interview with SOD. Griffith suggested that fans would see Victoria become more power hungry, so she’ll be headed down a worse road while Adam’s on a better one.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will be driven by power and that could lead to bigger issues for her. In fact, Griffith posed the question of whether Victoria would become the new Adam Newman!
Victoria is well on her way to being the coldest, most ruthless member of the Newman family.
Victoria’s war with Victor will remain in play in the coming months, so it’ll be interesting to see how low she sinks and what Victor decides to do about it! We’ll provide updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
