The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may watch Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) die of a heart attack. Will this be how Victoria gets revenge for Ashland’s cancer lie – paving the way for Victoria to reclaim Newman Enterprises?
Y&R viewers saw Ashland have a heart attack at the ranch, so we know that condition was legit. Ashland no doubt hated signing that contract under duress and letting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have the upper hand.
We also know Ashland went to the hospital and got a pacemaker in the aftermath, so we can trust that Ashland indeed has heart issues.
Those heart issues could come back to haunt Ashland and give him a sense of coldhearted déjà vu.
Since Ashland is likely scamming Victoria with a terminal illness ruse, it could result in trying to steal the company out from under her.
Newman Enterprises is in serious jeopardy through this merger, but Victoria thinks she’s helping a dying man preserve his legacy.
Can you imagine how livid Victoria’s going to be if she’s been lied to this whole time?
If Ashland has been playing games with Victoria’s heart for revenge and business gains, Victoria might play games with Ashland’s heart in return – only in a more literal way.
Ashland’s terminal illness deception is probably going to blow up big time and spark a heated confrontation. Perhaps Ashland will suffer another heart attack while fighting with Victoria.
We could see Ashland clutch his chest and beg Victoria to call 911, but would she make that call? It’s doubtful! It’d be great to see a “like father, like daughter” moment where Victoria takes a page out of Victor’s playbook.
Victor stood there watching Ashland suffer until the Cyaxares contract was signed, but Victoria may take things a step further.
The ice queen may come out in full force and just let Ashland die on her living room floor – the floor of the home she so generously opened to the liar.
Victoria could complete the transformation of becoming the new Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and take the title of most ruthless Newman child.
Maybe Victoria will come out on top in the end by reclaiming Newman Enterprises, gaining full control of Locke Communications Group and ridding herself of such a manipulative love interest.
