The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 7, teases that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will meet with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for an important discussion at Crimson Lights.
As Nick gives Nikki the rundown on the legal consequences Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) may be facing, he’ll mention rehab therapy. Nick will like the idea of Nikki filling Faith in on what to expect.
Talk will turn to the complicated situation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and how rough it’s been for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Nikki will think it was “pure evil” for Adam to poison Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), but she’ll know Sharon is stuck balancing that with Adam saving Faith’s life. Nick will suggest Adam has a hold on Sharon that goes deeper than even Sharon herself knows.
At the hospital, Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will bring Faith a bag full of takeout that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) dropped off. He’ll mention to Faith that he’s a volunteer now.
Although Moses will be unsure about outside food in the ICU, Faith will point out that Lola always makes enough to share – and Moses will admit it smells awfully good.
Moses will fish for details about Faith’s accident, but she’ll be cagey at first.
After Faith gets updates on Moses’ connection to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), she’ll finally open up about a series of crappy days that led to some bad decisions – including getting behind the wheel without a driver’s license.
Faith will tell Moses about being bullied, so he’ll reflect on facing bullies in the past as well. Moses will talk about how he realized kids can either decide to be a bully or a protector and equalizer. He’ll suggest that the question is which one to become, so Faith will hope she comes out of all this stronger.
After Moses gets called away for an emergency, he’ll tell a grinning Faith that he’ll see her around. Faith will get a visit from Nikki next.
Nikki will see Faith tossing crumpled up paper wads in the trash basket, so she’ll quiz her granddaughter. Faith will admit she’s struggling to write an apology note to her parents.
Nikki will think it’s good for Faith to face what she did – and that goes for in rehab as well. Although Faith will admit she’s scared, Nikki will offer a pep talk and promise that Faith’s got this.
Meanwhile, Sharon will be deep in thought when she returns home. Rey will surprise Sharon and wonder what’s got her so keyed up. Sharon will argue that Rey just startled her, but he’ll suspect there’s more to it than that.
Nevertheless, Sharon will insist there’s just been a lot going on. Rey will argue that Sharon could relieve some her smaller obligations by handing over Crimson Lights to the assistant manager for a few days or even shutting it down briefly.
Rey will also bring up meditation and running as stress-relieving options, but Sharon will claim she’s fine and snap at Rey to stop with all the suggestions.
Afterward, Sharon will apologize and argue that she just feels guilty. When Rey asks why, Sharon will contend that they were fighting last time they talked – and now Rey’s being so sweet and helpful.
Sharon will insist she just feel very deserving. Rey will wonder if that’s all it is and will ask if there’s anything Sharon needs to tell him.
Sharon will assure Rey there’s nothing more and will reveal that she’s going to the hospital to check on Faith. Rey will offer to tag along, but Sharon will insist he has to work tomorrow – and she might just stay overnight anyway.
Rey will suggest getting some ice cream and spending time together tonight, but Sharon will make excuses and leave in a hurry.
Later, Rey will question Nick after he drops by. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will admit that Sharon seemed on guard and defensive earlier. He’ll wonder how Sharon seemed to Nick when he last saw her.
Nick will acknowledge that Sharon is going through a lot and will swing the conversation to Adam. Part of Nick will want to shake Adam’s hand and thank him once his brother’s in cuffs. Rey will note that Nick may never get that chance since Adam’s good at disappearing.
Nick will ask if Rey thinks Adam has left the country or if he just wants to believe that. Rey will clarify that he wants Adam in a prison cell, although part of him wishes he lived in a world where Adam never existed.
When Nick returns to Faith at the hospital, he’ll inform her that she’ll be on “total lockdown” other than school and rehab therapy sessions. Faith won’t get screen time or any other fun activities, but she’ll feel lucky since things could’ve been so much worse.
Faith will acknowledge that she could’ve died and will be grateful for this second chance.
At Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will inform Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he turned down Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) offer. Lily will leave Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) a message urging her to call back, so Billy will wonder what’s up.
Lily will admit their employees are jumping ship due to poaching, so Billy will realize Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is responsible. Billy will look at a list of writers and media personalities who have been contacted by Victor’s team – and those will just be the ones they know about.
Lily will admit those people are asking to be released from their contracts, but that’s why she’ll want to speak with Amanda. Lily will think there has to be some sort of non-compete clause to minimize the damage.
Billy will rant about the only way to stop Victor from coming after them was to get their hands on Cyaxares instead.
Lily will wonder if Billy’s sorry he turned down Victoria’s offer, but he’ll insist that Victor’s coming in with guns blazing. Although Lily will know what Billy wants her to say, she’ll stand her ground on thinking it’s a bad idea to partner up with Victoria.
Lily will push Billy to let his feud with Victor and Adam go before leaving to speak with their legal team. She’ll feel like she can handle this issue herself.
Billy will also head out the door and land at Society, where he’ll corner Victor and taunt him about Adam being on the run.
Victor will argue that “Billy Boy” lost and needs to accept it, but Billy will mention how Victoria betrayed Victor by coming to him and asking to partner up.
Victor will let Billy know that he’s just getting started with his Cyaxares plans. He’ll warn that Bill has no idea what’s in store for him.
At The Grand Phoenix, Billy will catch Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) in the lobby and warn that Victor’s only goal is to weaponize Cyaxares against him. He won’t think Ashland wants to see the company he built from the ground up used like that.
Billy will argue that there’s a way to stop Cyaxares from being tarnished and ridiculed. He’ll insist all Ashland has to do is tell Victor no, so Ashland will agree to keep that in mind.
At Crimson Lights, Y&R spoilers say Lily will run into Victoria. Although Victoria will suggest she’s sorry they won’t be joining forces, Lily will think they need to get something straight. She’ll warn Victoria to stop playing games with Billy.
Although Lily will get that Victoria will always be connected to Billy through their kids, but she’ll insist that “the tortured saga of Billy and Victoria is over permanently.”
Victoria will argue that she approached Billy about a simple business alliance. However, she’ll add that Billy’s a gambler at heart.
Victoria will contend that any minute now, Billy could jeopardize what he’s been building with Lily both personally and professionally.
If that’s not the kind of excitement Lily’s looking for, Victoria will suggest she should look for a different partner. Lily will seem unsettled as Victoria struts out the door.
When Victoria catches up with Victor, he’ll call her out for going behind his back to make that offer to Billy.
Victoria will act like Victor would’ve done the same in her position, but Billy will want to talk about the real reason Victoria went after Cyaxares. Victoria will insist she’s not trying to rekindle things with her ex.
Victor will point out that Victoria’s been giving him reasons to question her judgment and his decision to put her in charge. It’s become a problem, so Victor will tell Victoria to fix it.
Back with Billy, he’ll knock on Lily’s door and fear she’s giving him the cold shoulder. Instead, Lily will open the door wearing an attractive dress and pull Billy inside to blow off steam. Lily will urge Billy to just put himself in her capable hands as they strip down and get passionate.
At the hospital again, Nick will grill Sharon about where she’s been and will mention his earlier chat with Rey. Sharon will get upset over Nick and Rey comparing notes about their concerns, but Nick will argue it’s not a conspiracy.
Sharon will recap all the chaos that’s been going on lately and will really want everyone to just get off her back.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon has more mayhem headed her way, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by again soon.
