The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 29, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will have a medical surprise while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) receives some grandma news. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also get trapped, so there’ll be a lot happening in Genoa City on Wednesday’s shocking show.
First, Ashland will have some important updates to share. He’ll end up filling Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in on something unexpected, so that could relate to his medical condition.
We know from other Y&R spoilers that Ashland will indeed deliver some new treatment results this week.
Things have seemingly been going well with this experimental trial – perhaps well enough for Ashland to claim he’s in remission.
However, Ashland is also keeping a major secret that’ll be revealed in 2022. If Ashland’s whole illness has been one big charade, he’ll have some explaining to do down the road!
Regardless, it looks like Victoria will embrace Ashland over some happy news later. Victoria just has to settle some business with Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) first.
After discovering Billy’s bizarre game on Tuesday, Victoria will move forward with a deal on Wednesday’s episode.
Victoria will share her terms for keeping quiet about Billy’s plot to take down Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so Billy will feel backed into a corner.
Lily and Billy will reach an agreement with Victoria, but they’ll know they’re playing with fire. If there’s one thing Y&R has taught us, it’s that most Newmans can’t be trusted.
Victoria always looks out for number one, so Billy will be taking quite a gamble by putting his faith in her.
Even so, Billy won’t really have a choice in the matter, so he might as well try to make the best of it. Lily may also have a bad feeling about this, but she’ll hope they can count on Victoria to come through.
At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will admit they’re in sync when it comes to baby plans.
Sharon will find out she’ll soon be a grandma to Mariah’s child with Tessa – though they’re not 100-percent sure about how they want to make their family happen.
Of course, Sharon may worry Mariah isn’t as over her attachment to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) as she thinks she is.
There may also be concerns about Tessa feeling pressured to take the next step quickly.
As a therapist and Mariah’s mother, Sharon will naturally want to voice those fears.
Sharon will get Tessa and Mariah to open up about where their heads are at, so we’ll see if they can convince her they’re truly ready.
