The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 14, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will confront lying Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) go public. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also have a confession to make, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Sally will struggle after she’s hit with a startling betrayal. It looks like this is about the video Sally shot in the park, which Tara sent to herself before deleting.
Of course, that video gets leaked on Tuesday’s Y&R episode – and Sally should know about it by Wednesday, July 14.
Sally will also know Tara is responsible, so she’ll barge in the Abbott mansion looking for a fight. However, there won’t be much Sally can do about Tara’s manipulative move.
It’s not like Sally can rat Tara out without risking her own secrets regarding Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) job in Milan!
For better or for worse, Sally and Tara are in this together. They’ll both go down with the sinking ship eventually, but Tara will think it’s going to be smooth sailing at this point.
Tara will no doubt feel like she’s got the upper hand on Ashland and can control the situation, but some surprises are headed her way.
One bomb’s going to drop when Ashland and Victoria go public with their merger news. It looks like Ashland may even address his health and perhaps his newfound connection with Victoria.
Although Ashland probably won’t put a label on the relationship, it may be clear to everyone that they’re a team in every sense of the word.
As for Billy, he’ll track Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) down so he can come clean about something. Maybe Billy will confide his suspicions about Tara seeming a little too sweet and charming.
Billy doesn’t trust Tara and may accuse her of leaking the video – at least in this private conversation with Jack.
Since Jack believes Tara’s such a devoted mother, he may argue that she’d never do something like that.
Jack might contend that Tara’s love for Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) wouldn’t allow her to stoop so low.
Billy obviously won’t be as certain, so he’ll wind up joining forces with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for the truth later this week, July 12-16.
