The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 7, tease that Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) party will take a shocking turn while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) plays dirty. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also get some disturbing news, so let’s talk about what viewers can expect.
Devon, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will all have drinks together on Wednesday’s episode. That’s enough to be considered a party according to Y&R spoilers!
This little celebration will be about family, friendship and moving forward, but a bomb’s going to drop at some point. Some startling truth will be revealed, so that probably involves the true nature of Imani and Amanda’s relationship.
Devon knows Imani is Amanda’s half-sister, but Nate and Elena still think Imani is just a friend from out of town.
This might be a good time to divulge the whole story, especially since Amanda and Imani are growing closer.
There’s really no need for Amanda to hide this information any longer, so she may come clean along with Imani.
Nate seemed interested in Imani before he decided to make things work with Elena. Once Elena knows Imani is Amanda’s sibling, she might consider her more of a threat.
Elena may worry Imani will be hanging around to connect with Amanda, which could mean connecting with Nate as well.
It sounds like Elena will definitely have to keep her eye on Imani as competition. Speaking of competition, Billy will make a power play on Wednesday’s exciting episode.
Billy’s set to make an offer regarding Locke Communications Group, so he’ll be playing dirty behind Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) back.
Of course, Billy won’t realize Victoria’s way ahead of the game here. Victoria may not have the merger deal finalized yet, but she’s certainly made plenty of progress and has gained Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) trust.
Victoria will gain even more trust when she assures Ashland that she’s all in on their relationship for however long they get to enjoy it. Ashland and Victoria will focus on living in the moment, so Billy should be out of luck for now.
As for Adam, he’ll await answers from Dr. Hedges (Michael Bofshever). Adam will know something has gone down regarding Chelsea, so he’ll push to find out exactly what it is.
Dr. Hedges may not admit the whole story to Adam, but he’ll at least set up a meeting between Adam and Chelsea – no doubt to discuss Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Chelsea will expect Dr. Hedges to arrange total freedom soon based on her blackmail recording, but she’ll settle for a field trip in the meantime.
Y&R Fans can expect Chelsea to be let out for a few hours with an orderly watching over her, so she’ll wind up in the park at some point this week.
Adam will be unsettled over Chelsea’s mental state along with Dr. Hedges’ behavior, so he’ll want to handle his part in all this carefully. Connor’s well-being is at stake, so Adam won’t take his protective duty as a father lightly.
