The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, March 17, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will appear in The Grand Phoenix lobby, where Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will be on a phone call with Harrison Locke.
Ashland will assure “Little Man” that Daddy loves him and will be home with a surprise for him soon.
After Ashland disconnects, Phyllis will say “hi” and assume he’s the impressive Ashland Locke. When Ashland learns that Phyllis owns the hotel, he’ll suggest it’s his turn to be impressed.
Ashland will only be sorry he didn’t get to spend more time at The Grand Phoenix since his work will be done in Genoa City soon.
At Chancellor Communications, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will call Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out for being distracted – and she’ll think this is about more than just the Cyaxares decision they’re waiting on.
Lily will think Billy still has Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) love confession on his mind. She’ll feel like Billy’s still downplaying everything instead of facing the difficult truth.
Lily will argue that Billy let this happen – that he enjoyed the warm family moments he was having with Victoria and their kids. Since Lily won’t think Billy is as over Victoria as he claims to be, she’ll once again push him to take time and examine those feelings.
Billy will assure Lily of his love, but she won’t think he knows that for sure – and she’ll want time apart outside of work until he figures things out.
At Newman Enterprises, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will sense that something’s troubling Victoria.
It’ll lead to a conversation about what exactly Victoria said when she said too much. Victoria will admit she told Billy she still loved him, so Nikki will wonder how Billy responded.
After Victoria suggests she didn’t give Billy a chance, she’ll beat herself up for blurting that out and losing control. Nikki won’t think Victoria should be so hard on herself.
When Nikki asks what Victoria thinks Billy would’ve said if she hadn’t told him to forget it, Victoria will insist they share children – and that’s it. She’ll end up leaving to get some air.
At Crimson Lights, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will approach Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and quiz him about the tension between Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Nate will admit that they broke up since things were too complicated from the get-go. Amanda will assume it’s because of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but Nate won’t presume to know what Elena’s feeling.
At Devon’s penthouse, Elena will stop by and offer updates on Nate ending their relationship with no explanation or discussion. Devon will be sorry, but Elena will insist she didn’t come there to get Devon to take her back.
Elena won’t want Devon to feel guilty and will argue that they didn’t meant to hurt anyone with their recent actions.
However, Devon will insist they did hurt people – and now they have to face the fallout. When Elena mentions her lost bracelet, Devon will admit that Amanda found it.
Elena will note that he didn’t tell Amanda that they slept together, but he’ll still feel like Amanda’s seen how things have changed between them.
Devon will imagine Amanda suspects there’s more than friendship going on. However, Devon won’t want to mislead Elena about them having a future since he wants to where see things lead with Amanda.
That said, Devon won’t want to mess with Elena’s emotions. They were just seeing if there was still something between them, so Elena will wish Devon the best and hope he gets all the happiness he deserves.
At the cottage, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will stand on the staircase looking worried as Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) phones Nate about sick Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), who’ll still be on the sofa sleeping.
Sharon will insist that Rey seems to be getting worse, so Nate will talk about having the lab results expedited – though if Rey’s symptoms persist and he still has a fever when he awakens, he should get to the hospital.
Once Faith comes downstairs, Sharon will try to make the situation seem less serious.
Sharon will suggest that Rey thinks it’s something he ate, but she’ll want to proceed with caution. That’s why Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will take Faith to school and then home with him later if Sharon has to take Rey to the hospital.
Faith will want to go to her grandparents instead since Nick’s been even more overprotective than usual. Moments later, Faith will answer a “good morning” text with a heart from her admirer. “You’re making it good,” Faith will text back with a smile.
Once Faith walks up to the main house, Rey will wake up a little hungry and will request some of Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) soup.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will stop by ChancComm and mention how Ashland remains an “enigma” and hasn’t tipped his hand about his decision yet. Jack will have high hopes, but he’ll wonder how Billy might take it if he loses.
Jack will think Billy should have a game plan – how he’ll respond or more importantly NOT respond – if Victor and Adam come after him. Billy will assure Jack that Lily’s his priority and that he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure Lily doesn’t get hurt.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will run into Lily at Crimson Lights, where they’ll face off on the patio. Lily will accuse Victoria of treating Cyaxares like a trophy and will argue that she only wants it because someone else does.
Lily will insist it’s important to Victoria because it’s important to Lily, but Victoria won’t think Lily knows her nearly as well as she thinks she does.
Once Lily returns, she’ll mention her run-in with Victoria and argue that everything Victoria does is calculated. Lily won’t buy that Victoria’s love confession was an accident, but Billy will insist that he can only speak to how he feels.
Billy will add that he doesn’t want to go backwards; he only wants to go forward and earn Lily’s trust so she can believe in him – so they can believe in each other.
At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, he’ll let Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in. Victor will assure Adam that no matter the outcome of the Cyaxares battle, he wants to keep working together because they’re partners now.
Adam will be surprised that Victor was so willing to go against Victoria, but Victor will talk about how Victoria made the “egregious” mistake of going behind his back and making a move for Cyaxares.
Later, Victor will assure Adam that he’ll never, ever turn his back on his son. Adam will want to prove to everyone that Victor was right to believe in him.
Once Victoria heads back to her office, she’ll tell Nikki about bumping into Lily and fighting with her. Even though Billy’s name never came up, Victoria will argue that somehow every word they said was about him.
Victoria will feel like Lily knows about her love declaration and is now staking her claim. Nikki will wonder what Victoria’s going to do, so she’ll vow to decide after Ashland accepts her offer.
When Amanda returns to Devon’s penthouse, she’ll want the truth. Amanda will think there’s more going on with Elena than just Devon being a good listener. “Yeah,” Devon will reluctantly confirm.
Amanda will get Devon to admit that he slept with Elena – and another time before that. As Amanda reels, she’ll sarcastically rant about Devon having to be extra sure Elena was his past.
Devon will scramble to explain and will insist he wants a future with Amanda, but she’ll argue that Devon showed her who he is. That’ll just make it that much easier to get over him. Amanda will storm out leaving Devon looking upset.
At Society, Elena will admit to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) that she managed to lose two good men and has no one to blame but herself. Lola won’t think it’s fair for Elena to hold herself solely responsible and will argue that maybe things worked out for the best.
At The Grand Phoenix again, Amanda will have an angry meltdown as she talks to Phyllis about her string of failed relationships. Although Amanda will be upset over making bad romantic decisions, Phyllis will give her a pep talk.
Amanda will think the one good thing here is that she wasn’t hopelessly in love with Devon yet, though she was getting there. Amanda will admit she was holding herself back out of fear – and now she just looks like a “damn fool.”
Phyllis will counter that Devon’s the fool for not seeing that Amanda is an amazing woman. Amanda will declare that she’s not going to want someone who doesn’t want her, but Phyllis won’t be so sure about that.
Suddenly, Devon will step forward and beg Amanda to please hear him out.
Back at the cottage, Rey will be delirious due to his fever on the sofa. After Rey starts rambling about suspects and backup, Sharon will grab the phone to call Nate.
Rey will come to his senses and push Sharon to stop, but she’ll eventually convince him to get in the car so they can head to the hospital.
When Rey gets up from the sofa, he’ll collapse on the floor and leave Sharon alarmed. Y&R spoilers say Sharon will call 911 and insist she needs an ambulance right away.
In Ashland’s suite, he’ll call Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to summon her back to the hotel since he’s made his decision and is wrapping things up in town.
Meanwhile, Adam will get a text from Ashland along with Billy and Victoria. They’ll all find out that Ashland’s made up his mind, so they’ll prepare to find out who the winner is.
