The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, March 24 Recap – Sharon Thallium Problem, Rey Targeted – Mariah Embryo Transfer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 24, teases that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will officially move in the Chancellor mansion.

Since this moving day is also Mariah’s embryo transfer day, Tessa will insist that Mariah should take it easy – and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will agree along with Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).

Later, Mariah will open a gift from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), which will be a penny that comes with a note. Devon didn’t have much growing up, but he held onto this penny hoping it’d bring good luck.

Mariah will hope that penny’s going to give her good luck at her appointment today. Abby will note that if everything goes as expected today, all their lives could be changing.

In a moment alone on Wednesday’s Young and the Restless episode, Mariah will thank Tessa for being so supportive – even to the point of uprooting her life. Tessa won’t think living in the mansion is much of a sacrifice, but Mariah will mean about everything.

Once Abby returns with snacks, she’ll give Mariah the chance to back out if she’s having any doubts. Mariah will argue that this feels incredibly important and vow not to let Abby down.

Soon after, Abby will join Mariah and Abby as they head out to Mariah’s appointment – all of them hopeful that Mariah will get pregnant.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will reassure a worried Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be OK. Faith won’t think Nick can be sure of that and will point out that Rey’s still unconscious.

At the hospital, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will get emotional as she talks by Rey’s bedside. She’ll insist that Rey can’t leave her since they’re supposed to be partners. “Now and…” Sharon will trail off. Rey will suddenly wake up and finish Sharon’s statement with “forever.”

After Sharon spreads the news via text, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will check on Rey and be relieved that they got the antidote to him in time. Rey will be confused, so Nate will explain that thallium poisoning caused his symptoms.

Nate will run down the list of possible ways Rey was exposed, but none of them will add up. Nate will add that he wants to get an investigation to Sharon’s house as soon as possible, so Sharon will agree to let ranch security know.

Once Nate leaves, Sharon will talk to Rey about what an eye-opening experience this has been. It showed Sharon how much they have to lose, but Rey will insist he’s not going anywhere.

Over with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll call Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and hope they can meet up to talk. At The Grand Phoenix, Amanda will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that she’s not going to listen to Devon’s voicemail and will promptly delete it.

Phyllis will mention Devon’s heartfelt declaration recently and wonder if it didn’t get to Amanda – at least a little bit.

Although Phyllis won’t be taking sides, she’ll argue that she’s let anger get the best of her in the past and won’t want to see that happen with Amanda. Amanda will insist she really just needs to wallow right now.

Soon after, Amanda will receive a call from Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) about meeting up. When Amanda suggests this weekend, Naya won’t think this can wait.

Back at the coffeehouse, Faith will be glad about Sharon’s updates on Rey. She’ll also tell Nick about a new friend who’s on her side 100 percent. Nick will bring up the idea of therapy, so Faith will decide she’s finally ready to give it a try.

Next, Faith will hang out in the lounge area of The Grand Phoenix lobby and exchange messages with her mystery texter. Faith will get a message about playing a fun game to combat boredom.

Nearby, Nick will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Faith’s new friend – and they’ll be glad to know Rey’s getting better, especially for Faith’s sake.

Nate will bump into Devon at Crimson Lights, where things will get a bit heated over Amanda and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Devon will acknowledge that actions have consequences before talk turns to Moses Winters’ (Jacob Aaron Gaines) imminent arrival.

Nate will assure Devon that he intends to have Moses’ back as he starts interning at the clinic.

At Society, Elena will calm Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) down until she receives the good news about Rey’s condition improving. Then, it’ll be Lola’s turn to give Elena a pep talk. Lola’s advice will be to move on from both Devon and Nate, so she’ll insist on another girls’ night to help make that happen.

In Rey’s hospital room, Sharon will call Faith so that she can hear Rey’s voice. Rey will call out to Faith from his bed, so Faith will be glad to hear that he’s on the mend.

Sharon will note that the house is being tested for poison, but she’ll note that Faith needs to get tested as well since she may have been exposed.

Faith will be more than willing – and she’ll delight Sharon by admitting she’s ready to try therapy, too. After Sharon disconnects, she’ll get some troubling news from Nate. The doc will tell Sharon and Rey that what’s troubling is just how much poison was found in Sharon’s house.

Back with Faith, she’ll ask for Phyllis’ guidance regarding a video game called Ninja Squirrels. Phyllis will admit she’s never played that one, but she’ll offer some general tips for gaming.

Faith will end up asking Phyllis how you know when you’re falling in love, so that question will leave Phyllis taken aback.

Faith will ask what advice Phyllis would give to her teenage self, so Phyllis will suggest she’d say don’t give your heart away to the cutest boy in English class. Nick will overhear nearby and roll his eyes dramatically before laughing.

However, Nick will like the real advice that follows, which will be about never losing to a video game to a boy on purpose.

After Faith steps away to resume texting, Phyllis will fill Nick in on Faith liking a boy – and Nick will have a protective dad moment where he’s not happy about it.

At Amanda’s suite, she’ll open the door to Devon and nearly slam it in his face. Devon will stop Amanda and understand her anger, but she’ll rant about being cheated on by two different men with the same woman.

Even so, apologetic Devon will hope Amanda’s willing to hear him out.

Amanda won’t have time for this since her birth mom is coming on some urgent matter. Naya will arrive moments later, so Amanda will insist Devon was just leaving.

After Devon promises to call Amanda and then exits, Naya will insist her family is in trouble and that they need Amanda’s help.

When Mariah returns from her appointment with Tessa and Abby, they’ll wonder how she feels. Mariah won’t want to jinx it, but she’ll admit she does feel different. “Kind of like we just created a life!” Mariah will say with a chuckle.

In nine days, Mariah will go back for a blood test and will find out for sure if she’s pregnant. Abby will confess it’s going to be the longest nine days of her life.

At the hospital again on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Nate will admit the inspectors found an alarming amount of thallium at the cottage. It wasn’t in just one place either.

It was found in body wash, hair gel and shaving cream – but only in the men’s version of those products. Rey will realize this was no accident and will insist he was a poisoning target.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will become convinced of Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) guilt soon enough, so stay tuned for more Y&R drama. CDL will have other hot Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news for you, so drop by regularly.
