The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, November 3 Recap – Billy Takes Adam’s Bait - Noah Suspects Nick Not Over Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 3, reveals that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will suspect that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) never got over Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) takes Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) bait.

In Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) office on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll find out Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) secured an evaluation appointment at the clinic for his new treatment.

Ashland will admit he has to leave in a hurry and won’t expect Victoria to tag along for a preliminary thing.

However, Victoria will insist on being right by Ashland’s side and helping him process everything.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will eventually get updates on the experimental treatment evaluation in Peru, so she’ll hope things go well with the trial.

As for Adam, he’ll call Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) most trusted PI. Adam will deliver orders to set the bait and report back with how it goes.

At Society, Billy will be dining with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) when Victoria calls to ask if he can take the kids while she’s out of town.

Victoria will decline to get into the details of why, but she’ll be grateful to Billy for coming through for her.

Soon after, Billy and Lily will eavesdrop on Victor’s top PI, who’ll talk about someone giving the Newman security team the slip again.

After Billy overhears there’s a new search underway, he’ll assume this is about Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones).

Back with Adam, he’ll drop by Victoria’s office looking for Ashland. Victoria will agree to pass along a message about the plan being in motion and will mention Ashland’s treatment out of the country.

Adam will hope things work out and will want to build on his relationship with Victoria, but she’ll suggest this is pretty much as good as it’s going to get.

Afterward, Adam will get a phone call from the PI and learn that the plan seemed to work. He’ll suggest that now they’ll just let Billy do what he does best and self-destruct.

Once Billy heads home with Lily, they’ll bicker over whether Gaines would be helpful or a liability.

Billy will argue that Gaines’ ammo can be used to blackmail Victor and Adam, but Lily won’t be interested. She’ll insist they’re done with Gaines and will refuse to humor Billy on this anymore.

However, Lily and Billy will get quite a shock when Gaines shows up at the door. Gaines will look disheveled as he struggles to catch his breath. He’ll insist he’s not safe and had nowhere else to go, so he’ll be counting on Billy and Lily to hide him.

At the ranch, Victoria will be with Nikki when a horrible call comes in from Victor. Nikki will relay the news that Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) may have been killed undercover, so Victoria’s heart will go out to her devastated sister.

Back with Ashland, he’ll struggle to breathe and will have to take a seat in Victoria’s office.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she thinks she just broke up with Nick. She won’t want to be part of Nick’s judgment and jealousy anymore.

Phyllis will talk about having a conversation where Nick’s resentment came out in all its glory. She’ll argue that Nick told her in no uncertain terms that they couldn’t be together anymore.

Phyllis will have flashback snippets of an extremely harsh Nick and will cry over how he doesn’t want to understand where she’s coming from. Jack will try to be optimistic, but Phyllis won’t think there’s any hope after what happened.

At the cottage, Sharon and Noah will urge Nick to open up about his side of the Phyllis fight.

Nick will struggle to understand how they went from zero to 60 so fast. He’ll talk about all the accusations Phyllis hurled and will have his own flashback snippets of a raging Phyllis.

Nick will think this is the end of the road with Phyllis, but he won’t want Noah and Sharon to feel sorry for him.

Sharon will insist they care, and Noah will back her up. They’ll listen as Nick says Phyllis admitted to hating his family – and he just won’t think there’s any coming back from that.

Once Nick takes off, Noah will confess to never really understanding the pull between Nick and Phyllis. Sharon will think the excitement of doing something illicit tends to get boring and make “Phick” fall apart.

Noah will counter that maybe deep down, Nick never got over Sharon. That’ll earn a surprised look from Sharon as she processes the suggestion.

After Jack calls to check on Phyllis, she’ll hang up and contemplate calling Nick in her suite. Nick will also appear outside the door and consider knocking. That’s when viewers will see the real version of the earlier fight – not just the skewed, out-of-context snippets.

In that flashback, Phyllis will rant about how she turned herself into a pretzel to help Nick deal with his family. Nick will fire back that Phyllis has no appreciation for how hard it’d be to cut himself off.

Phyllis will warn Nick not to dare say that to her. She’ll feel like she learned her Newman lessons the hard way and will feel like Nick doesn’t have any sympathy.

As the flashback continues, Nick will grumble about Phyllis acting superior and pretending to take the high road. Phyllis will argue that this is over and won’t think they can keep telling themselves they don’t have to change.

Phyllis will add that she’s indeed changed and wants more than just sleeping together and playing video games.

Phyllis will contend that she wants commitment, a confidant and an ally. She’ll admit to hating Nick’s family, but only because he always chooses them over her.

Phyllis will call out Nick’s jealousy of Adam and will suggest he always wants to be the golden boy who saves the day.

Since Nick will always sacrifice Phyllis and their relationship, she’ll insist she can’t do this anymore.

Nick will confirm that he knows and will glare at Jack’s incoming call on Phyllis’ phone. He’ll suggest that at the first sign of trouble, Phyllis always turns to Jack.

Back in the present, Nick will decide to leave without a follow-up conversation with Phyllis. He’ll seem down in the dumps as he walks away from the door – and Phyllis will look just as distraught inside her suite.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick and Phyllis’ relationship is indeed done for now, so we’ll see what the future holds for them both.
