The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 13, reveals that Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) will rage over Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) being Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) date. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also reconnect, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
In Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) room, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will insist that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) knows about the real Ashland Locke’s death, the fraudulent inheritance and any other dirt he might have.
Victoria will rant about Ashland going through chemo and still trying to make memories at this beautiful wedding with her.
“Just stop harassing us and let me go!” Victoria will shout at Billy. Once Ashland and Victoria exit, Lily will insist Billy took things way too far by bringing Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) there.
Lily will push Billy to see that maybe Ashland has found real love with Victoria, but she’ll assume Billy doesn’t like hearing that.
Billy will think maybe Victoria’s just protecting the merger and will speculate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might be pressuring her to go through with the wedding.
Lily won’t think it matters why Victoria is standing by Ashland. She’ll point out that Billy’s plan backfired and will urge him to accept that the wedding’s happening.
Lily won’t think they should even be there since Billy isn’t on board with the nuptials.
However, Billy will feel like it’s important for the kids to see their parents supporting each other at the ceremony tomorrow.
Billy will also insist he’s going to find Gaines, throw more money at him and convince him to leave.
Lily will get that Billy’s trying to make amends for his past mistakes with Victoria in his own antagonistic way.
Although it’s exhausting, Lily will also find it endearing. She’ll kiss Billy before they wind up in bed together and miss the cocktail party entirely.
Back with Ashland, he’ll tell Victoria that Gaines is their real problem right now.
Ashland will suspect that Gaines wants to humiliate him publicly and will dash off to handle it.
While Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is off playing with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will chat with Noah, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
When Phyllis notices Nick is a bit quiet, he’ll insist it’s all good – though it clearly won’t be!
here’ll be other moments of tension later, so Phyllis will try to get Nick to open up. Nick will act like Phyllis is exploiting the situation with Victoria, but Jack will advise Phyllis not to take it personally since Nick’s dealing with a lot.
Sally will show up with Adam, but she’ll suddenly be a little nervous about their plan. She’ll hint that Adam could make the dress pitch to Victoria, but he’ll suggest there might be another way to go about this.
After Sally spots Victoria leaving her room, she’ll sneak in and swap the dress out for the one she designed. Sally will hide in a hurry when Victoria returns, but she’ll go unnoticed by the bride-to-be.
As for Tessa, she’ll get quizzed during an encounter with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Nate and Elena will assume Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) must be resting after the flight, but Tessa will admit she didn’t come.
Back in Genoa City, Mariah will catch up with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) over coffee. She’ll talk about returning to work at Jabot and will explain that she skipped the Italy trip because of the baby.
Kevin will get why Mariah would be protective, even though Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor isn’t actually her child.
Mariah will want to hear all about Kevin’s kids, so he’ll tell plenty of stories. After Tessa meets Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde) and performs a jazzy song with her, she’ll call Mariah and gush over how great everything is at the palazzo.
Mariah will suddenly interrupt Tessa and act like she’s in “zombie mode” since she didn’t get much sleep last night.
Tessa will seem rather glum when Mariah cuts the call short, but a chat with Noah will lift her spirits.
Noah will talk about how much he’s missed Tessa and will explain how things are a bit too investment-driven in the art world.
Tessa and Noah will crack some jokes about Noah’s lack of singing ability as well as how “borderline boring” he is according to Noah himself.
Meanwhile, Kevin will be curious why Mariah just blew Tessa off, but she’ll just want to hear more about his children.
Back at the palazzo, Sally will tell Adam that phase one is complete. She’ll be certain that Victoria will love the dress and will be open to hearing a final sales pitch.
When Summer spots Sally, she’ll immediately demand to know what her old rival’s doing there.
Adam will call Sally his date, which Summer will relay to the rest of the group and call “tacky.” Kyle will note that Victor would throw Sally out if Summer asked – and Phyllis will love that plan.
Summer won’t want to give Sally the satisfaction of knowing she got under her skin, so she’ll choose to just let it go.
Over with Sally again, Adam will get the feeling that she really enjoys riling people up. Sally will quip that everyone needs a hobby and will decide to retire to her room before she gets herself thrown out.
Afterward, Adam will notice Ashland whispering to Victor and looking intense. He’ll continue to lurk as Victor assures Ashland that he’ll take care of everything when it comes to Gaines.
Nick will eventually apologize to Phyllis for snapping at her earlier. She’ll tease Nick about making him work for forgiveness as Jack catches a glimpse of them sitting together.
While Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) goes to Jack looking for Victor, Ashland will tell Victoria the Gaines situation is being handled.
Ashland will promise no more interruptions and will contend that they’ll be husband and wife by this time tomorrow.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria and Ashland’s wedding will be quite the event, so stay tuned!
