The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 29, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will go too far while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) enjoy some risky alone time. Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will also receive a warning, so let’s discuss what Wednesday’s Y&R episode has in store.
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will lash out over Billy’s constant attempts to block Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) marriage. Nikki will think Billy is obsessed and driven by jealousy, so she won’t support his mission at all.
Billy will argue that Ashland is still keeping secrets – potentially a huge one that’ll just mean more heartbreak for Victoria. Of course, Nikki will think Billy should know something about being a heartbreaker! She’ll rant about the pain Billy already caused Victoria and make it crystal clear that he needs to back off.
As for the upcoming wedding, Nikki will insist that Billy shouldn’t bother showing his face. She’ll uninvite Billy to the big event and assume Victoria will back her up on the ban. Nikki will feel like Billy has truly crossed the line, so she’ll want to keep him away and protect the nuptials.
Next, Jack and Phyllis will get some alone time – for better or for worse. In Tuesday’s episode, Phyllis mentions that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might not make it back from New Jersey in time to join them on their flight to Milan. That prompts Jack to adjust the flight plan arrangements for two.
On Wednesday, it seems Phyllis and Jack will indeed prepare to board the jet by themselves. That’ll give them plenty of hours to talk and connect, so this could be dangerous since their bond is already so strong. Not to mention it could add to Nick’s growing insecurities!
Nick’s focus will be on confronting Ashland with his Toms River discovery for now, but he’ll spot an intriguing moment between Phyllis and Jack later this week. Until then, Ashland will get some guidance he wasn’t expecting.
Ashland, Victoria, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will all head to Society on a double date, so that’ll give Ashland’s best man a chance to come through with advice. Nate will say something that gives Ashland a fresh perspective and serves as a bit of a warning, so Ashland will make some interesting moves as a result.
