The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 8, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will deliver a shocking invite while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) bosses Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) around. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also confess to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as Wednesday’s Y&R drama heats up.
For starters, Ashland will catch Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) off guard with another invitation.
Although Ashland recently suggested a double date night with their favorite women, perhaps he’ll want a man-to-man talk over drinks first. Ashland may have some things he wants to say with only Nate present.
Of course, Ashland might also invite Nate to be his personal doctor – particularly during the upcoming wedding festivities.
If Ashland ends up being healthy enough to make the Italy trip, he might recruit Nate to stay close by in case there are any scares.
Ashland seems to like and trust Nate, but is it really just because he thinks the guy is a sucker?
One thing’s for sure: Ashland is as untrustworthy as they come! He’s keeping some massive secrets about his past – and it’s never even been proven that Ashland is truly sick.
Nate would be wise to proceed with caution, but he may be too impressed by Ashland’s charm and generosity.
As for Victor, he’s certainly not impressed by some of the decisions Adam’s been making lately. That goes for both personal and professional ones.
Victor wasn’t a fan of Adam’s choice of party date – nor is he thrilled that Adam hired Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the first place.
Of course, Victor also disapproves of Adam’s Newman Media expansion plans based on the vibe Lily sensed.
Victor will have a chance to weigh in on Adam’s choices and will try to steer him down a different path.
That’s not going to go over well with Adam, who’ll feel like Victor’s trying to take charge as usual.
Victor will even summon Sally for a little chat and offer a warning to her later this week, so don’t miss the tension that’s brewing.
In the meantime, Lily will see that Devon is a changed man. She’ll get the feeling that Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s birth affected Devon more deeply than he’s letting on.
Devon knows he can trust Lily with his secrets and usually relies on her for advice when things get tough.
It looks like Devon will confess the complicated feelings in his heart and get some guidance in response.
Whatever the case, Lily will pick up on Devon’s transformation and will hope she can offer some the right support.
