The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of April 5-9 teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a shocking request for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). After Sharon secretly meets with Adam at the lake, he’ll once again claim he’s innocent – and he’ll need Sharon’s help to prove it.
Sharon will reel as Adam explains his belief that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was behind Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) poisoning. Adam will argue that Chelsea set him up for revenge, but Sharon will certainly have her doubts.
Sharon will struggle to believe that Chelsea hid her recovery and pulled all this off behind Adam’s back.
Nevertheless, Adam will feel confident that’s exactly what happened. He’ll want Sharon to set a trap for Chelsea and clear his name, so Sharon will think the idea is outrageous.
“You want me to set a trap for some woman who – maybe she did recently recover – but she’s still been through an ordeal recently and she might be out of her mind?!” Sharon exclaims in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Adam will get that it sounds extreme, but he’ll argue that Sharon is the only person he can trust. He’ll have a tough time getting Sharon on board, but there’s a good chance she’ll go through with it since we all know she’s got a weak spot for Adam!
Next, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will open the door of her hotel suite to a surprising visitor. Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) will introduce himself, so Amanda will glare as she states that Sutton is her grandfather.
Of course, this won’t exactly be a warm and fuzzy first meeting. Sutton forced Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) to give up her twin babies – and now he’s been accused of ordering the murder of Amanda’s father, Richard Nealon.
Amanda will wonder why she should help Sutton under the circumstances, but he’ll make a strong case for why she should. Sutton will assure Amanda that he’s not responsible and may offer some new details that intrigue her.
Amanda will ultimately want to find out the truth about her father’s killer, so she’ll seek the real story one way or another.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will ask Kyle Abbott (Michael Michael) a question that leaves him sweating bullets! In the lounge area at Society, Ashland will decide to get his suspicions out in the open.
Ashland will ask if Kyle slept with his wife, so Kyle will have to decide if he’s going to lie or tackle the issue head on.
Since Ashland seems convinced anyway, Kyle may think he’s better off acknowledging his mistake and hoping they can all move forward. However, there’s no such thing as moving forward when it comes to Ashland!
Ashland’s a man who focuses on payback, so he’ll no doubt deliver a fierce threat over Kyle’s old affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
As for the topic of Harrison Locke’s paternity, it’ll be interesting to see how that fits in the story as this hot plot moves along!
