The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 16-20 tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be homeless – and Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) fate will be decided. Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) resources will also be used to help locate Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will make a decision about Harrison’s future and settle the matter with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Later, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make a vow to Ashland after receiving some good advice from Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
As for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll be ready to kick off a new chapter in his life.
Devon previously brought up the idea of giving Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) a key to his penthouse. Perhaps Devon will get more serious about that and ask Amanda if she wants to move in.
Speaking of moving, it looks like Sally will soon find herself needing a new place to crash.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will kick someone out, so it sounds like she’ll toss Sally out of her hotel – which should come as no surprise under the circumstances.
Look for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to make Sally her target in the coming episodes as well. Nikki will make it clear that no one crosses a Newman and gets away with it.
Nikki will still be fuming over Sally’s manipulation of Summer Newman (Hunter King), but she could also have a new reason to grow angry.
Sally is working for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on the fashion platform now, so she’s an employee of Newman Media.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) approved the decision, but Nikki may not be on board – and Victor may voice his objections as well.
Victor will also do some digging into Ashland’s history and some questionable decisions he might’ve made over the years. He’ll want to protect Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who’ll be encouraged to call a truce with Adam.
Victor will hope he can force Victoria and Adam to resolve their differences, but it’ll be no easy task!
Next, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will find herself dwelling on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) bond with Victoria.
Lily will wonder if true closure will ever be possible for Victoria and Billy, so she may fret over the possibility of them reconnecting down the road.
In the meantime, Y&R spoilers hint that Nick will have a hidden agenda. We’ll see if that involves a surprise to cheer Phyllis up or perhaps something sneakier.
Over with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll hope to make some progress in the missing Mariah case.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will make a disturbing discovery and pass along the troubling news to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), so concerns about Mariah will grow stronger.
Victor has resources that could help, so he’ll indeed offer them up to Rey, Sharon and the others.
Since Mariah is carrying Victor’s grandbaby, he’ll be invested in finding Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) surrogate ASAP.
Devon will also turn to Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) for some PI help, so maybe Denise can pitch in on finding Mariah as well.
The search for Mariah will finally become a priority, so we’ll provide updates as other Y&R details emerge.
